Just want to share a little good news

I have not posted in a very long time but I am a definite lurker. I am almost 16 months post op and have lost 160 pounds. I am also five months pregnant and just found out that we are having a little girl. Her name is going to be Jaiden Leigh...I am so very excited. I already have a little boy who will be eight in January. I was very afraid when I first got pregnant because exactly one year ago I had a miscarriage and now I am 5 months pregnant and the baby is fine. I have only gained three pounds, so I am really excited about that. I have not had any complications at all.. My due date is February 22, 2006. I just want to say a few little words to all..... For those of you waiting to have your surgery keep your chin's up and keep those prayers rolling because God will get you to where you need to be. For those of you that are post op keep up the great work and always remember "We did it..." God definitely gave us our new life and we need to continue to encourage the others who are exploring the idea of surgery or the ones that are on the waiting for their date for their new life to begin...... My favorite all time saying is...."If God brought you to it, He will get you throught it." May God bless each and everyone Rachael Medinger

Thanks Kelli.....We were in Springfield on Tuesday and I was going to send you an email to meet for lunch but I got busy with my son and his extracurricular activities and didn't even make it to the computer.... Maybe next time....Not sure when that will be maybe in December... God bless Rachael

Rachel, What wonderful news!! Your little girl is very lucky to have a mother like you. I love your saying. I am going to keep that one in mind every time I start complaining about some small little something. Like you I feel very fortunate that God pointed the way to this surgery. I do believe I was lead to it. Keep us posted, so we can send good wishes when yur daughter arrives. Linda P.S.
