need patience!
ugggg, my date is November 11 (which is just around the corner) and I am getting impatient. I just want it to be tomorrow. My joints are so sore and my back as well. I find it hard to leave my house because of how I feel and of how I feel. I think, "I am so fat, and feel so bad why even go out." It is just so hard to get ready. I just wanted to let ya'll know how I am feeling today. Thanks, Penni

Hang in there sweetie. I know how you feel. I am not big on patients at all. Expecially when it has to do with something that is going to improve your life so much. I am still waiting for my date but hanging in there with God's help. Good luck sweetie and before you know it you DAY will be here!!!

Penni,
Hi there girl. Lets meet at the support group next wed. nite. we can be of great support to each other. Mine is the l4th and today I am just exhausted with good reasons. I work for a nursing facility - and this past week we had our survey by the Div. of Aging. Needless I worked long long hours (43 ub 4 days). Today I gave a graduation party for a friend of mine who just graduated from High school at the age of 59. I decided to get on line and there you were. We might even meet at Goden Corral in Sedalia. Email me. Keep your chin up girl, we will be on the losing side soon - you before me. Colette
Penni,
I know your pain and anguish, but keep you chin up and be glad you have a date. I know its hard and frustrating to see all of us on here that are post op and I remember wishing it was me. And thinking it suks to sit and wait. I would force myslef out of bed in the mornings and cry on my way to work because of my back, hip, and leg pain, but I knew I had to do it.
I would take these next few weeks and start getting ready for your new life. Look over supplements, drinks etc. Your whole life is going to change and all for the better. But, it takes time and I know it bites to wait, but trust me it is sooooo worth the wait.
Why i say it is worth the wait:
I am 4 months and one week post op and I am down 112.5 lbs
I can ride a bike again
I can walk over 3 miles and not be winded, let alone 30 feet.
I can play ball with my kids.
My back pain isn't gone, however I am off my meds.
My hips, knees, legs dont hurt anymore.
So try to keep in mind all good things come to gastric patients that wait, LOL. Seriously, your day is coming and sooner than you think.
Best of luck 4 U in your journey.
Gevin
