Hi Marla!! I've been lurking lately. I keep forgetting to call Cindy. Hopefully, she is doing fine. I am doing quite well. I have had some problems with fatigue and drowsy driving lately, but I am seeing my PCP today. I had her order labs which I had done earlier this week. I may have figured it out myself. I discovered that I was only taking 1/2 the dose of bariatric vitamins I was supposed to be taking. It's a long stupid story, but I did that for a month. I have corrected that. I am also being fitted for a new CPAP mask tomorrow. My loss, so far, is about 55 pounds, and my face is thinner. I think the mask is not fitting properly. I'm glad you got a date. Halloween, what an interesting day to have for surgery. You will definitely always remember the date. I will try to be better about posting. Maybe Cindy will see your message and we'll know how she is doing. Linda

Marla, My PCP said I can stop taking my BP med. My BP today after driving from Jeff City to Columbia on 63 (always an exciting experience) was 108/72. I've never had a top number that high. Of course, I have to go back in a month, so she can check on that. I'm very happy about this. Linda

Linda that is great about your BP meds. But that top number is not high. A totally normal top number is 120, of course everyone is different!

Marla, Sorry I have been really slack about posting and I do apologize. I am feeling much better. I have an appt. this coming Wed. and I will see just exactly how much I have lost. Hopefully I will be happy with the amount. I am so ready to get to start eatting soft foods. I am really getting sick of broth and boullion and sugar free jello and watered down juice. While at the appt. I am gonna ask if I can possibly get rid of my CPAP because I haven't been able to use it since surgery and I have been sleeping fine and I have't been sleepy through the day so I am hopeing he will say I can get rid of it. Just wish me luck. I am so proud of myself because I didn't chicken out like I was afraid I might and I can honestly say if I had it all to do over again I would do it. I have dropped 2 pants sizes and I have lost 1 bra size and 2 shirt sizes. I am so happy cause I can now wear Wal-Mart clothing which I haven't been able to wear in dooms ages. Cindy I am so happy you are doing well. I finally got my date and its for Halloween. Please let me know when you are going for your appointment as our paths may cross. I have a few trips to Columbia this month. Well I go for my cardiac clearance and my pulmonary tests tomarrow, please say a prayer I pass. I look forward to seeing you on the other side! Marla
