local support groups

are there any local support groups in the jefferson city area. i know there must be some in the columbia area, but that is so far with the price of gas right now. i live in eldon, which is 30 miles from jeff city.

Hello, Just thought I would tell you that I do know that the Bariatrics program at the University Hospital is starting a support group in Jeff City very soon. My suggestion is in about a month or so contact the Bariatric Department at (573) 882-5673 to see if they are up and running.... They might be now, but I dont think so tho.... Hope that helps Ardie
