Happy to be 100+ less
Hey all,
Well I am down a wee over 105 lbs as of this morning, not shabby for 3.5 months post op. I am working on adding new foods however it seems that when I get to where I can eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup of a food that it goes bad for me and I end up losing it, ya'all know what I mean. I can go a week eating some foods fine then the next week, my picky tummy sais nope...
Example, chicken noodle soup, I can sip the liquid for a while then when I try to eat the noodles, wham, its like I someone made me swallow marbles. Last week no problem, I could eat the can, took an hour to do it, LOL, but it stayed down. This week nope. Nuts, seems that if I eat 5-10 peanuts I do ok, more than that, nope. Peanut butter, LOL, no prob, I can lick the spoon for hours. Milk, I can drink an 8 oz glass in half an hour and do fine, let me try that with chicken broth and
So, anyone else seem to have a picky tummy that lets you eat good one week and not the next??
I am thinking it is stress related, however.... I am going to contact the Dr and see about havinf things checked out.
Ta ta all.

Hey stranger long time no yap.. I hope all is well with you~!
I am thinking alot of this is stress related, work, home, pop being gone...
But I am down another 2 lbs and that without taking the water pill for over a week so I am now down to 207 if I take the water pill I will break 200, but that isnt a good way to keep track... Funny, last week I took it and lost 8 lbs in less than a day, which is pretty scary.
Other than that you need to e-mail me and let me know how the kidlets are doing and where you are with your weight loss. I am betting 125 lost or more..~!
Let me know

Hey Mellisa,
Well you will be here soon and proboly before ya know if you will be on the losers bench.
Let me say this much it hasnt been a cake walk, just ask a few of the folks on here they will tell ya i have struggled with a picky tummy. But I am getting there and I wont say slowly but surley, LOL. I have lost it quick, but I am a male and we tend to lose faster, well with the exception of Super Woman "Nana Linda" up there, 48 in a month~!.
Just keep pestering the Dr office and get a date. We are saving you a place on the bench. Now that I have shifted back to the Century Club bench there is pleny of room on the other LOL. Ok that was a hit on me, but I need it once in a while.. LOL

Gevin, call Nancy on Tuesday and talk to her and see what she says. Hopefully its just that your stomach is just getting picky or that you may be trying to eat too fast, I find that I have done that a couple of times cause I forget that I need to take things slow, and maybe its just not working well with your pouch. Are you getting nauseaous with it also, or do you just get sick and then you are fine. I still have never and I don't want to start either. So far everything has gone down and stayed down, but I just know that when I had my gall bladder attachs, I had wished that I was able to throw up, I even conteplated getting some candy out of the vending machine to see if that would make me throw up, but with my luck, I would just end up or I would find out that I can tolerate sugars, and I don't want to know if I do.
Good luck and hope this is just a small set back and that you will be back on track in no time. Keep us updated on whats going on.
