Cindy is doing so much better!!
Thanks for all your posts to Cindy Hultz's surgery support page. She is doing much better. I just talked to her, and she is about to be transferred from ICU to a regular room. She sounds a lot better. With some luck, she might get to go home tomorrow. Four nights in a hospital is enough for anyone.

Linda,
You are such a sweetheart. I would like to say Thank you very much for keeping all the WLS friends posted on my progress. I did so much enjoy seeing you at the hospital and also recieving the calls they mede me cheer up real quick when I heard your voice and I seen your face.
I was discharged at 5:30pm Friday afternoon. I do still have some pain but not nearly what I did have. The good thing is that I got to spend some time with my sister and neice before they had to leave to go back. Hopefully they will be back in late January or early February for Christmas.
I am worried kinda because I really don't think I am getting all the food I need now due to my stomach starting to hurt just afterlike 3 small bites of sugar free jello and even at the hospital after about 4 spoons of broth I was full and didn't want to eat anything else. Do you have any suggestions as to what I might do?
Also when you came home did you have to be on blood thinner shots for a month? I have to take 2 shots a day in my stomach of LOVENOX which is a blood thinner for a month.
Once again thanks again for the hospital visit and calls and for keeping everyone updated on my progress. I will be at dads till probably Wednesday or Thursday of next week depending on when my appt. with Dr. Scott will be . I have to call Monday and get it set up.
Cindy
