I get to go to seminar on Wed. Wondering if anyone can let me have an approximate idea of how long it takes if I have letters from docs, (wanting me to have it) and medical records also, and have talked to medicare and co-insurance with approval already. I know I have to attend seminar to get to docs office. Will all of the above speed up my procedure. I have to lose 90 pounds? Thanks for any insight. I also have the modalities of high blood pressure, arthritis, and djd and hip replacement 3 years ago

Colette; I had my surgery with Dr. Hornbostel. After his seminar, you will be sent a packet of forms to complete. The information you have should make things easier. Documentation of comorbidities (high blood pressure, sleep apnea, etc.) will help. Also, 6 months documentation of a medically approved or nationally approved weight loss program, like Weigh****chers, Xenical, etc. Good Luck! If you need an angel, here I am! Patty

Patty, Thank you for sending me a message. I also am going to Hornbostel. First I went to the seminar in Kansas with Dr. Lopez but he would not take Medicaire. ( he would but you had to pay for it). I have gone to Weigh****chers for the past 15 years on and off but I dont have the booklets to prove it. Do I have to have those? It is so nice to have someone close to Concordia. I used to do Home Health as an RN and often came to that area . Would you please be my angel. Thanks ever so much. Colette
