Can someone answer my questions?

I am happy I think.................... Got my letter today saying my appointment with Dr. Scott is Sept. 28th. That is fantastic I know. But does anyone know what that means? Is that my clinic date or what? Im soooooooooooooo confused!

If this is the first time you have seen Dr Scott then yes it is a consultation appointment. He will probably give you the run down of what needs to be done before surgery and will probably tell you to lose some weight before surgery. That all depends on how much you weigh now tho. I think if you weigh over 350 then he requires you to lose 10% of your body weight. I started off at 411 and he wanted me to lose 40 lbs. I dont know if people that weigh less than 350 would have to lose weight for sure or not tho.
