Not good news

I have an internal hernia and Dr. Richardson wanted to do the surgery TODAY! Yikes!! I wasn't prepared for that; so we scheduled it for Tuesday. He made me promise that if it got bad that I would come in sooner and have it done. *sigh* The good news is that once this is done, he said it won't happen again. Until then, I'm in awful pain and plan to hit the couch until Tuesday. So please pray for me. Nothing really super bad I guess - just painful and inconvenient. Traci

Traci, that's not good news! Dr. Richardson repaired a hernia I had while he did my gallbladder. He mentioned it was fairly common, something that wasn't preventable, but shouldnt happen again. It was just something that happened because the way the surgery is done. I'll keep you in my prayers, good luck with surgery! Chrissy

Aww, I'm sorry you're in so much pain and discomfort!! Get lots of rest and I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday!!! At least you have a great surgeon taking care of you...and thank goodness he didn't move out of state!!! -Kelli

Sorry, to hear about your surger. I had hernia surgery in March, and am scheduled for another one in November. They didn't get it fixed the first time, so now I have to go in and have an open surgery :o(. I have to be in the hospital 3 days. I'm not liking that. Oh no Rita!!!! That's not good!! I'm really hoping Dr. R. can get this one fixed tomorrow. I was thinking my next time in surgery would be for something fun - like a tummy tuck and breast reduction! LOL So to make this trip fun - party in my room tomorrow night at St Alexius!! Come on over and enjoy some green jello with me! Traci
