Missouri Duodenal Switchers (DS)?

Hi Jeanie, I haven't been on this site for months and months. I had DS in Brazil, 7/21/04 with Dr. Marchesini. I just celebrated my one year post op anniversary. I didn't think there were any Ds'ers in my area. I know of Robin in St. Louis that went to Dr. M, but thats about it. I would love to get together with others some time. I have lost 130 pounds going from 276 to 146 pounds. I do have two incisional hernias that my PCP has now referred me to a surgeon to repair. Other than that, I have had nothing but smooth sailing with this surgery. Against the advise and opinion of everyone I know, I am sooo glad that I did it. I will pop in hear more often.
