Ok I have a odd question. I have recently hit the fifth month, and the last couple of days I have been constantly hungry... Not mind hungry, but actual stomach churning growling hungry. I dont think I have been eating enough to stretch my stomach out, but I am getting a little worrried. I havent really been hungry since surgery unless I forget to eat till say 5 in the evening or so ( try not to do that one) BUt I have been waking up hungry and going to bed hungry. I eat and that takes care of it for about a hour or two then I am hit again.. Any one else had this kind of a problem? thanks Kerri Ps yep been keeping up with all pills and protien drinks.

Hi Kerri, It usually happens about the 5th or 6th month out. You have gotten your appetite back. My PCP had me eat 3 meals and 2 high protein snacks a day. That means I usually eat about every 4 hrs. (7am, 11am, 1:30, 4, 8pm) The 11 and 4 are my snacks. Just don't graze. And drink water, sometimes you are just thirsty. But it was bound to happen. Keep up the good work. And don't forget the exercise. Pat B. 356/250/180 Lap RNY 8/30/04
