New Pic!!!

Hi Everyone!

I FINALLY have a new picture posted in my profile! I've actually lost about 5-7 more pounds since that pic was taken in mid-June. Hope everyone is doing well and in good health. I am doing awesome. I've lost 225 pounds and I feel like a million bucks. I have my life back and boy have I been taking advantage of it. I feel normal and I even feel sexy!

I find myself doing my hair, putting on makeup and wearing jewelry.....It is hard to believe that a little over a year ago, it was a chore to drag my big bootie into the shower. I'm not carrying all that weight on my joints anymore and my doc says my blood pressure is as good as an Olympic athlete! I have a spring in my step and some days I just can't stop smiling.

Even with the complications I've had....and this hernia I'm currently dealing with....It is all worth it! To all you newbies.....welcome to the MO board! To all the old timers......we need to post more often! Remember what is was like to be a newbie with so many questions? We need to share our successes AND our failures......so we all can learn from one another. Good luck to everyone, regardless of where you are in your journey. I'm living proof that you can regain your life and start LIVING again.

Shelli, You're my INSPIRATION!!! Congratulations on losing more than 1/2 of you! My weight at surgery was where you started too, and I've worried alot whether I'd be able to lose what I need to in the "honeymoon" 18-months ... but you've shown me it can be done. THANK YOU!!!
