Need Help....
I love the liquid protein, punch flavor. I mix it in 24 oz of Crystal Light and drink it over about a 3 hour period. I put in 9 T which is 54 grams of protein. If you drink it over several hours you can absorb that much protein. Drinking it all at once doesn't work. If you do that, then put in less protein.
I don't like the chocolate or vanilla kinds of drinks. They all taste horrid to me.
Good luck.

I picked up 3 "small" of the packages of the "chocolate caramel", "strawberry" and "Vanilla". The Choc-Caramel is pretty awesome tasting. I tried the Strawberry and it was ok.
I also bought the little auto mixer on sale for $9.95.
It works okay. Leaves a few lumps, but the milk really does whip up in volume with the powder about 30%.
I think the samll pouchs were $8.89 or something each... Ken
Shelly,
I really like Isopure brand Dutch Chocolate flavor low-carb. It has I think 2 carbs per serving, but it hasn't impeded me from losing weight.
It's also very versatile. You can mix it with (skim/1%) milk to make it like a chocolate milk or you can blend it with ice and milk or water to make a chocolate smoothie. You can also toss some peanut butter in the blender with it to make a peanut-butter/chocolate smoothie, or I also tried a banana with it in the blender and made a banana-chocolate smoothie, which was quite tasty. Also, I was craving chocolate ice cream one time, so I whipped up 2 scoops of the Isopure with milk, some dutch process cocoa, and some splenda in a blender, then poured the whole thing into my ice cream maker and it came out like a soft serve ice cream; was a good way to get in some protein and kill a craving at the same time. Be warned though, since there is no sugar in this concoction, when you freeze any leftover, it will become rock hard.
The best part about it is that it packs 50 gm. of protein into one serving. I throw the two scoops in a shaker every morning with water and ice, take it to work, drink half of it in the morning for breakfast and the other half in the mid-afternoon for a pick-me-up.
Another option is a brand called Any Whey, which sells a virtually flavorless protein supplement. You can use this, added to sugar-free yogurt or other foods, to help you add protein grams to your diet. I put in my yogurt and smoothies and can't taste the difference. There is a slight texture change, but nothing major.
By the way, if you can find someone with a GNC discount card, have them help you because on days 1 - 7 every month, the GNC discount cardholders get 20% off. Since they sell their Isopure at $50.00 a pop, it's worth it. The other option is to buy from the 'net. I think I spent $25.55 at one of the nutrtion joints on the web vs. GNC's $50.
Good luck. Let us know of any new discoveries.
