Hair today.....
I don't really know what an average hair loss figure might be, but I know from reading many posts that people everyone seems to lose about the same amount. The problem comes in when you have a person with thin hair to begin with...then a lot of them end up cutting most of it off just to try and look nicer. I have very thick hair, and although I lost quite a bit, it wasn't really noticeable...although it finally did lay right.
Your hair WILL grow back as long as you are taking your vitamins and getting your protein. Mine started growing back around 7 months and is as thick as ever. I did have a month where it started falling out again, but now it's normal. And the texture is the same as always (which kinda sucks, actually). Some people do wind up with very dry, brittle hair...but again, if you are on top of your health, it shouldn't be an issue.
And really, hair loss should be the least of your concerns. After all, no one's going to notice it from a trotting horse. Just be thankful that when you're losing hair, you're also losing weight. That more than makes up for it
Cheers!

Thanks Pamela for the words of wisdom. I agree about the trotting horse! I think I am going through some pre-surgery jitters. I have been thinking about all the things that could happen and not keeping site of the importance of the weight loss. You sound so positive. You look great and have done well with your weight loss. Hope you continue to have success.
