hi wont go into all the problems i have had in the past . but am looking at haveing this done on july 19 . but the surg. has made me take all sorts of tests that none of the others that i have worked with in the past has made me take. so far all have come out ok but the blood suger and the cholesterol were very high. i know if i have this done those numbers should come down but am worried if this could cause a reson for the surg. to want to past pone god i hope not is so close now

I don't think having high blood sugars or cholesterol will delay your surgery. They can control your sugars. If you are like most of us, both of those will improve greatly after your surgery. I had the duodenal switch, which some people have just for the 98% cure rate for Type 2 Diabetes. It's hard to beat that. My glucose levels have been normal since the day of surgery, and my cholesterol is WNL, too. Good luck with your surgery. Just a few weeks and you'll be a loser! Jeanie in St. Louis
