Tomorrow is my rebirthday!!!
Tomorrow, June 24th will be my one year anniversary since my surgery....Alot has happened in the last year, after having my surgery on June 24th, I had a miscarriage in October(that was God's way of telling me my body was not quite ready for a new baby), in March and May of this year I had to have emergency surgery to remove adhesions, repair three hernias, and remove my gallbladder, and just this week I have given another blessing and that is I am going to be having a baby....My biggest accomplishment is been me losing 160 pounds. You know people ask me all the time, "would you do it again?", of course, because deep down inside I know that God above gave me this second chance at life...You know there are certain things some people take for granted and sometimes it is our health, but now I can actually say that will not ever be me again. Just from losing this weight I have gained a greater love for myself and my family, I have a very supportive husband and son and I could not ask for anything more....I am finally able to run and play with my son, and I could not do that a year ago, I actually feel comfortable enough to go to a public pool and go swimming with my son, and I feel proud to walk next to my husband in public now, I use to dislike going in public with him because I was always afraid of what people thought of me being overweight and I didn't want them to say mean and rude things to him. Now I hold my head up high and walk on, nothing brings me down because I have a new life. I still am about 103 pounds from my personal goal but I have tried to concieve since my husband and I got together almost six years ago and now once again God has answered my prayers.
To all of you out there that are either going to have the surgery, or recently have had the surgery, or you are considering the surgery remember this saying that I always say "IF GOD BROUGHT YOU TO IT, HE WILL HELP YOU THROUGH IT...." Good luck to everyone and may God bless you in your journeys.
Keep the faith
God bless
