Dawn D....
Hey girl! Where are you? I've been thinking about you lately, and am wondering how you're doing. I remember how discouraged you were at the Spring Fling, and I hope things are going much better for you now.
So, spill the beans!!
Tell us what you've been doing with yourself lately, and how successful you've been!!!
Cathy

Hi Dawn,
I remember somone one saying this isnt the end to all problems only the end to the one that is the hardest on you. I guess I believe since I am finding it easier to deal with all of the other problems I have. I to am taking it one day at a time because I spent almost 6 years of my life either feeling sick or sick and now I am trying to make up for lost time and it isnt easy.
Dont let things get you down. You made it through one of the most difficult times in your life and your still here to yap at us about it LOL..
And besides, 70 lbs, wow thats almost a 4th grader~! And has far as the happiness everyone else does, maybe they are putting up a front so they wont see like the rest of us.....
As for walking, well I am up to 2.5 miles per day and am 22 days post op, but I am doing it for my kids, the smells I can smell now, and the fact that it just feels good. Speaking of smells, do any smells seem to make you feel bad? Off question, but I wanted to ask if I was weird on that one...
So I say we celebrate 70 lbs lost and do the hap hap happy dance.

Have a great day~!

Hi Dawn,
Well It was nice to know I made you smile, which in turn made me smile, so thats two smiles in one day. I guess we need to woo hoo for us..
You know I have heard that smiling burns calories so lets try to smile again today and burn off the cals from the pudding I had last night LOL.
Well as for walking..... Congrats to you, walking that far and not being out of breath~! I still get to (don;t have to) park close to the store. I still have my blue tag since I am considered permanetly disabled due to my back, but I am trying. I only walked 1.5 miles last night. Between the heat and my greyhounds being exhausted I decided that was enough.
As for being busy I am never to busy for you and for anyone else that looks like they are in a slump on this board. We are all going through some of the most trying times in our lives and a note or a few words of encouragement never hurts. But, the good news is the hard part is over and now we get to enjoy life for a change. Speaking of that I got to see the pair of Falcons that lives behind me last night. They were soaring high above our trees just as free as can be. Kind of like us now that we are becoming free from the weight and the burdens that come with it.
Well I hope this finds you well and as alwyas if ya wanna yap my e-mail is always on...
I think we need some hap hap happy dancin in here. So lets all get up and dance in honor of Dawn
