2 years since wls
June 16th 2005 marks my 2 year weight loss surgery anniversary.
A lot has changed in the two years!! I'd like to share the things I have noticed that have changed.
1. I am 125#'s lighter (20 pounds gain after my divorce)
2. I am no longer Obese just overweight
3. I lost all my boobs (where oh where did they go)
4. I can fit in a airplane seat and not have to wear a seatbelt extension.
5. I can drive my car with out a seatbelt extension
6. I can put my hand all the way around my wrist
7. I can see my collar bone
8. I can wear 14 to 16's and not 32
9. I've lost 67 inches and 3 ½ sizes in my ring finerand 2 sizes in shoes
10. I can do things with out losing my breath.
11. I'm the 2nd smallest in my family and don't have to put up with being made fun of.
12. I started a support group Sept 03 and and 1 year and half later had to leave
13. I got a job I couldn't never get when I was big
14. I see myself has beautiful
15. I got a divorce (some what good an bad) since the divorce i learn to love myself more.
16. My outlook on life is better
17. I'm a lot happier to be around
18. I don't sleep all day I now do something with my life
19. I've been given the ability to use my tool (however we all make mistakes and this has been a journey for me)
20. Save the best for last (TMIF) Sex is better but i am single so....
I could go on and on and on but I won't bore anyone else.
Obesityhelp , family and friends and most of all my surgeon are those that I have to thank for helping me to make it threw this and make this tool work. I think god for giving me the chance to live a happier healthier life.
Lot's of positive thing's have happen threw out the last 2 years,my grandma passed away but she seen me lost weight and that made me feel good. I got divorce and have since struggled with bad eating habits however i know i can get back on track
