I was just thinking about this last night. I had a lot of time on my hands, so I was poking around other areas of this site, including member rosters and patient forums. There are a lot of people who are MIA. I guess everyone is back to living normal life. I know that my posts have slowed down quite a bit since summer arrived (although I'm still around on most days). Some days I have a lot of time, and other days, I'm not even home for days at a time. I'm at a weight loss standstill. I'm working very hard to identify and resolve my issues with food. I'm also trying to shake up my food and exercise routines to give my metabolism a jolt. With that said, it's time to head to the gym... Pamela -102 and stuck

Hello I'm here, just busy as a one arm paper hanger in a windstorm! Seriously, I'm doing very well, but am not spending as much time online. I think I'm getting a life!! I have the script from Dr. Richardson to get my 1 year bloodwork done before my appointment. I need to get the form to take that to the lab and get them drawn. I think I'm due for my B12 shot, other than that, just hanging out with the kiddos!! My weight loss is still happening, just very slowly. I'll go a week or two, and not lose (sometimes longer), then drop 2 lbs. I'm very close to goal. I would love a tummy tuck and breast reduction, but if insurance doesn't pay, it will take me a bit to come up with that much cash. Our insurance changed earlier this year, and I have no clue what they pay and what they don't. Knowing myself, in the end, I may not cough up that much to have it done. There's always more important things I could spend money on. So even though I would love PS, it may or may not happen. Time will tell. Oooo, my female Shih Tzu is off at the stud being bred, so hopefully we'll have puppies around mid-August. So that's my biggest news I guess. Traci 250/155/149

Here it is June 15 already and I just saw your post. I don't get on much anymore as well. My schedule is wild. We took on an additional foster daughter and it makes the schedule crazy! In the morning I take one to work at 8, another to volunteer at 10:30, my daughter to summer school at 11:30 (she's taking 1/2 day and can't ride the bus). Then I get a reprieve for a couple of hours before I pick up one at 2:30, another at 2:45, take one of those to work at 4, another to work at 5:30 and pick everyone up at 7:30. That's my day. I spend a lot of time in the car on my cell phone answering questions about why i haven't picked someone up on time. I'm feeling great. I'd love to have these wings called my arms done. I figure everything else is covered by clothes. But these arms keep me about two sizes bigger than I need to be in tops. They fall off my shoulders but get caught on the arms! My sister calls them Grandma Carr arms because our grandmother lost weight later in life and had all this hangy skin on her arms. I feel my actual arm and it's pretty small compared to what is hanging down underneath. I got some of that skin firming lotion. It doesn't help at all. Any advice is welcomed. Of course, I'll probably have lots more skin hanging everywhere when I lose the rest of my weight. I'm about half way to my goal. I've lost 118 and would love to lose 100 more. Even though I'm now about where most of you guys started, I feel 100% better than I did 9 months ago. Always good to hear from you Marsha. Teresa
