I am home now and on the losing side :) !!!!!!!!!!

I want to say thanks to all of you for all your thoughts and prayers while I was going through surgery. It was great knowing that I had so many well wishers behind me pulling for me. I am home now, got home on Friday afternoon, still a bit sore, but feeling great just knowing what I went throught. I was in Depaul hospital down in St Louis and let me tell you, thier staff was just awesome. My mom was with me down at the hospital and said after surgery they were in there all the time checking everything out and making sure I was being taken care of. That evening the night nurse came in and told me it was time to start doing my walks. From there on out they were in my room making sure I was doing ok and checking my vitals. The next morning I had new nurses come on about 7 and they were great also, they wanted me up and walking around as much as possible and I don't remember hardly ever having to hit the nurses button cause either one of the nurses or the CP was in there checking on my needs. They sent me down for my test in x-ray and everything there went good, and then they gave me the blue ice to eat to make sure I didn't have any leaks in my drain, once everything seemed like it was ok then the cathator came out and I got my menu to order some lunch from. I got releases on Friday morning and have been home doing good. I got plenty of water and Isopure and different things for my liquid diet that I am on for the next 3 weeks. I will keep everyone posted on my results. And a special thanks to Gavin for posting for me afterwards, sorry my mom didn't call you from late, she thought that I would want to call, but trust me, I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at that time, but again, thanks for being a great friend through all of this.

Hey Hey Theresa, I am so glad all went well for you and I am soooo sorry I didn't get to come up and visit while you were in. I was glad your mom called and let me know how you were doing~! I got soooo many replies from the other board it was crazy. There were/are allot of people rooting for your success. You are truely blessed to have so many people wishing you well and saying prayers in your behalf. I will e-mail u later with more info on a few things... Glad to hear all is well and you home safe~!.
