question about pre surgical education program
Hi Ya Lesa,
It's me again... when I went there was a lady that had her Auntie and Mother there... also a gal with her Hubby... so I would dare say it would be ok. I figure you're going to have it in the conference room up on the 3rd floor of the physician's building there is plenty of room.
Hope that helps
Ardie
Not nervous just anxious to get down to business. I had a scare yesterday. I forgot to send the letter in to cancel the old insurance. The hospital called me and said that the new one could decide not to pay because of it. So I got on the phone and took care of it. Worst case is that I would have to put it off till after June 1st. But its taken care of. I was looking for a emoticon for 'whoo". There was another woman who is having her surgery on the same day as you & I and she is very nervous. She looks very young but has already had a heart attack. She doesnt have a computer so she doesnt have this outlet. If you end up with her as a roommate till I said Hi.
We are going to do fine!!! Oh ya I just remembered My cousin was there at the program. I didnt even know that she was considering WLS...
Her date is the June 6th. funny huh

Lesa,
Glad you got all of that squared away... that would have made me nervous too! I'll keep a lookout for this young gal you spoke of... sounds like she needs some support, and without a computer that must be difficult to say the least... So tell me how did your Ed class go... Tell me about it if you'd like... I always love to hear about what people have learned and tips for success Plus I'd love to hear what you thought about Dr. Scott's support staff too...
Take Care Lesa

Ardie,
The ed class went fine. It was cold in there and I dont ever get cold. Every one was nice. Dr. De La Torre gave the death speech. My husband thought that he tooted his own horn too much. But I found it reassuring to know that they are considered the 4th leading bariatric team in the world. Natalie was great they all were. The dietician talked way too fast but they were behind schedule I think, but we got thier emails and cards and was encouraged to call anytime. Thats unusual in my vast medical experience (HAHAHAH). Overall it was a good day learned alot. I was almost overwhelmed with it and probably would have been if we didnt have this great place to talk with others who have gone through it. So what did you think when you went?
WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!
