Hi everyone !!!.....GOTTA QUESTION
Glad to hear everyone is doing well.....and sorry I don't get on and post as much as I'd like to. Anyway, I have a lot, I mean ALOT of saggy skin, and Dr. Scott is going to refer me to a plastics surg. in September when I am a year out. I have heard by word of mouth from a few people that there is a program that if you allow the skin they remove do be used for grafts for burn and cancer patients and such, that the surgery can be performed at no cost to you or your insurance.
Has anyone heard of this ??????....sounds to good to be true, and I know that usually, if it sounds too good to believe, it probably is bogus, but just wanted to know if anyone else had heard of it.
Take care everyone, and good luck to everyone with an upcoming surg.

Dan,
Hey, I've heard of this...a lady that works with me has some information about it. I'll shoot you the information as soon as I see her. She works 12 hours shift 3 days a week...so next time I see her I'll try and get some information for you. She says it's strictly for WLS patients and is the real deal....but, I guess they go by who needs it the most ect.
Take care,
Kelli
I'll see what information I can find out about it...she said it's in St. Louis I do recall that. I'm not at the point that I need plastics and feel I need to wait until my 2 year point. I guess that's why when she was all excited about it...I didn't write the information down. I will send the information to everyone that expressed interest in it.
BTW, Christy I love your new picture...you look wonderful!
Kelli
Kelli could you send it to me also even though Im just beginning this odessy I will keep it for future use.
Thanks

I have heard that many times on here then I have also heard it is a myth that our skin has lost ALL elasticity and therefore it is not usable. I also would be very interested in this IF there is any truth to it. Thanks Jenniffer

Dan and everyone!
I talked to my friend and she's going to Tulsa to have her PS done. She said the place she told me about in St. Louis wasn't what she thought. That's all I know and I'm sorry to dissapoint all of you.
Jennifer was right...if it seems too good to be true it probabally is.

Kelli
