well I am almost back to normal after the valve replacements.. making bread again for church, or mostly making it.. have to have some help with the lifting and stuff like that but you know the saying, to many cooks spoil the broth.. do better by myself most of the time, although it was great to have someone hold it together until I got back to normal.. or as normal as I can get.. have doctor appointments all next week or the first three days anyway.. I will see just how normal I can get to.. hate to have to do the cardiac rehab stuff, to far to drive.. (the price of gas).. still hve a fair bit of discomfort lately.. not so bad I have to take something for it but sometiems almost makes me want to cry. I'm a whimp. take care all, dont overdo and when something comes along that is unexpected just think God that he is in control and trust in his mercy.. to all that have had surgery, live a healthier life and to those that need it keep on fighting.. getting harder and harder to get approval for the wls and we need it for health.. there are so many that have had it and needed it for life, not just better life but to live at all that the insurance companies need to reconsider their position.. you all have my prayers and my best wishes for a total complete recovery so go out and live life again..

Donna, good to hear you're doing well. I read your profile and you were talking about you wished there was a good energy drink. I take GNC liquid protein in pink lemonade Crystal Light every morning. It is like my starter fluid or something. A couple of mornings I've not been able to take it because we've been in a hurry or something and I can't wait to get home to fix it. If I don't have it, I'm tremendously hungry. I like it because the liquid mixes with CL and I don't even taste it .... or smell it like the other proteins. You might find it helps. But then, you probably don't need protein drinks this far out from surgery. Good to see your post! Teresa
