Update time....
Well howdy do folkies... long time no post. This is what having two jobs will do to you...plus try to cram in some time for golf or running errands and other things...it boils down to having NO time to be on the computer!
I'm not quite 8 months out and today I am down 120 lbs.. Really not having any food "issues" with head problems or intolerability. I just don't go where I shouldn't (I.E. pushing the limit with no/no foods or amts.) Some days I can seemingly eat more than others but I let my body dictate what is going to transpire for that day.
I am thankful that I haven't pushed the envelope with foods that I shouldn't have. I don't even want to know if I will dum*****t. It is definitely not a win/win situation. Either you find out you DON'T dump or if you do ...you pay for it. Just not going to go there .
My activity level is through the roof compared to before. This is the first weekend in the last month that we haven't gone to Silver Dollar City .... I was powerwalking all over that park...and I lost count of the times we rode the coasters ( I am coaster freak!)...
Right now I am in medium to large shirts (depends on how they are cut) and I wear either 14 or 16 slacks/jeans. Mostly 14's... not too shabby for someone who started out in 26-28's and 3-4x shirts... I'll take it!
I know that there are several on this site that are struggling with issues in their WLS walk... just remember what you went through in obtaining this surgery and what you went through during your initial recuperation. Make all of what you went through WORTH the effort .
MAKE YOURSELF WORTH THE EFFORT and hold dear to it.... Nothing ..and I mean NOTHING (that you can put in your mouth) is worth all the pain and suffering that you went through. NOTHING .
Hang tight folks and well wishes to everyone who has just had their surgery or is getting ready to have it!.... Positive vibes to the other posties who are steaming right along in their weight loss....
Remember FOOD only has power over you if YOU let it ...
God Bless...
Elizabeth~
