Wierd feeling: Anxious but scared
I can't wait to get everything taken care of. But I'm so leary of needles and being cut on it kinda freaks me out. I'm 46 and I've never had anything done like that before. I bet I've only had blood taken maybe once or twice before, and I guarentee you it didn't come without objection.... LOL... Reading everyone's posts is really a big help for me to understand what all is going on. It's just that after taking care of my now ex-wife for 16 years when I really need her she's not around. I still feel like I'm on a bit of an island.. I don't mean to be such a wuss, but I can't help it...
I'm not a needle person. Just the thought of having blood drawn makes me want to cry. Strangely enough, though, the 2 times I've been in the hospital (having my daughter and having WLS), it didn't bother me. I don't know if I was too tired to care, or if the result is such a great one. You're going to be fine...
I was in Farmington the other day...my husband wanted to look at property out that way.

Jeff, my husband doesnt like needles either. To tell the truth, I think it is a man thing, lol. Think of the IV as your life line and try not to worry about the actual surgery at this point, just worry about making sure the ducks are in their place first. Good luck to you, there are plenty of us out here that are pulling for all of us newbies to wls.
