PS in Stlouis/Illinois

I think i asked this a while back, but hoping someone may have some new insight. Who are you all using in the area for reconstructive surgery? I am having a horrible time finding someone who will even bother to submit to insurance. I do realize that most likely i will be self pay, but you know humor me a little. I realize that many drs don't want to take the lower fee paid by insurance, but i would be happy with insurance just covering anesthesia and hospital costs. anyway just wanted to ask you all.

I've contacted http://www.stlcosmeticsurgery.com/ I know they must submit some things to insurance, because they said that my breast reduction may be covered. Not sure if they automatically submit or not. If you contact NewStart, there is a plastic surgeon who works with many WLS patients, and this surgeon also spoke at the St Louis OH event in July 2004. I can't remember his name at the moment. Also, if you check here at OH for plastic surgeon reviews - that might give you some clue as to who accepts insurance, or at least a place to start looking.

I'm not sure about the insurance thing, but I have used Dr. Rottler in Kirkwood and really like his staff. I didn't have surgery but had some veins on my nose worked on . 314-966-8880
