Almost there

Well I got the call from the nurses stating that all my paperwork is on Dr. Fullwell's desk. She told me that \I would get the call before the end of the week telling me when my pre-op testing, nutrition class and finally my surgery will be. I have to admit some of my excitement is turning to anxiety. I guess i'm just going through what everybody goes through before their surgery.  Hopefully i'll be able to post my surgery date by friday.

Did you get your date?

Not yet unfortunately. But they finally rescecheduled my pre op testing for the 4th of January.  It was supposed to be tomorrow but due to a transportation problem I couldnt make it.

Which type of surgery are you planning on having?  My biggest problem now is keeping weight on!

I was originally wanting the RNY but I am having trouble quiting smoking. And I know how important it is to quit prior to the surgery. But unfortunatley I have had a lot of family issues and added stress this past holiday season. I go tomorrow for my pre-op work and my nutrition class. I'm hoping that my blood nicotine levels don't kick me out the program. Hopefully my nurse will be able to give me some info that might help.
