Pasta, pasta, pasta
Would someone please knock me upside the head? I've had this relentless fascination with pasta lately that is rediculous. I went with my girlfirend to "The Hill" in the St. Louis area. Big mistake! We don't have many good italian restaurants in the Detroit area and now it's all I think about. Last night at about 3:00 am, I found myself heating up some spaghetti carbonara leftovers from the restaurant. The whole time I'm doing that, I'm thinking "What the hell are you doing?" Like my surgeon said many years ago, "We did surgery on your stomach, not your brain". So true! I pledge to resist that temptation. Easy to say now that the pasta has all been consumed. Hang in there everybody!
