Update on the "new addition"
Well for those who are wondering about pregnancy after Roux en Y, I am here to tell you...my experience went well.
My "new man," Jace, was born April 15, 2011. He was a whopping 9 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long (an exact pound bigger than my biggest baby pre-bypass). No problems throughout pregnancy other than the development of a real sensitivity to ANY sugar I ate (is still staying with me, which is good because I was able to "get away with" eating sugar after bypass, but not now so it will keep me in check). I gained a lot less than with my three girls, but still around the maximum of recommended weight gain. He was actually two days overdue and induced. He himself gained 14 ounces in one week being breastfed so he is very healthy.
I was worried about how things would go, but all in all they went fine. I will try to post pics at a later time. Hope everyone else is well.
