Need some help
So I need some help. I've gotten off track with my eating. I need to see some of your sample meal plans for a day to refresh my memory and get me back to where I need to be. I see where things are out of control. I've forgotten that I'm not a normal thin person who can eat whatever she wants. I'm also dating someone so we eat out a lot and am finding myself ordering pasta dishes instead of something more pouch friendly and smaller portions. I still can't eat as much as a normal person, so my pouch hasn't stretched, but it's the food choices I'm making that are going to send me down a path I have no desire to go down if I don't turn around.
I would have posted this on the main board but I rarely post there and didn't want to be lectured. I need positive feedback and some cheerleading.
I've started having a protein shake for breakfast in the morning. I've looked on eggface's blog for some of the recipes I used to use earlier out. Any other tips or suggestions. I also find myself sneeking in drinks while I'm eating which scares me because I know that's a big no no!
So there it is. Pure honesty. I need help. Fill me up with your suggestions and ideas please!

Good morning!
I think you are on the right track by starting the day with protein. I have done protein coffee since about 3 months out, I stopped it when I got worried about calories and my weight loss stopped and even started creeping up. I went back to the protein in the morning and things have righted themselves again, I also stay satisfied through the morning which is a big help.
I eat a good lunch, I eat protein adn veggies mainly and eat until I am full (sometimes that seems like a lot of food adn sometimes not so much) But by eating until I am full keeps me from wanting to nibble all afternoon. My next pitfall is when cooking supper...I have found I have to have a legal nibble during this time, so I am having dill pickles or cucumbers, celery etc...You get the picture while I cook. It does limit my dinner portion quite a bit but with the protein in the morning and a good lunch I am very near my protein goal for the day. In the evening if I get hungry again (or if I need the protein numbers) i have a shake.
If the sweet crqavings get to me I keep some SF chocolates adn have a couple of them or a SF caramel apple! YUM!
Eating out is something I do a lot too, it just takes discipline to order what you know you need. Get a to go box with your dinner adn protion things out as soon as the food comes or try just sharing off of sweetie's plate.
You can do this!!! It is hard but you can do hard things, You are strong!!!

Thanks Cheryl for your response and ideas. I'm doing really well withgetting in my protein. I just got some of that Click espresso protein and am loving it. I also found a good protein bar at Wal-Mart. Of course when I went back to get more wouldn't you know they didn't have any. Hoping that wasn't a permanent thing.
I really appreciate your ideas on dining out too.
I've been trying to eat on kind of a schedule so I don't let myself get too hungry and make poor choices. I've also eliminated sugar from my diet. (Was having way too much of that) I'm feeling better because of that and the increased protein. I'm eating small amounts every few hours.
Thanks again for your post.

I'm a John Price graduate too. My RNY was 7/8/08.
The protein shakes are good, just make sure they don't have too much sugar. I'm a big fan of Click but it's not high in protein. I only use 1 scoop added to milk. Sometimes I add a scoop of Isopure or Unjury to boost the protein.
Fortunately, pasta does not go down well for me. I can eat ravioli, but spaghetti or macaroni can make me miserable. Rice is really nasty to me. Sugar makes me sick too. I tried cake twice and both times the icing made me sick. The cake didn't taste that good either. My tastes have changed a lot.
Good luck!! Take care. You definitely don't want to gain the weight back.
