Mama Jan & MO Peeps:

Wanted to ask all you prayer warriors out there to be praying for Bec and her husband Paul. Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 abdominal cancer about a month ago. They have already told them it is "incurable". He took his first round of chemo Wednesday and was admitted into Bothwell yesterday. His body did not take the chemo well at all. Apparently, his whole system pretty much shut down. He will be at Bothwell for at least a week.  Please pray that the Lord will give the doctors and nurses who are caring for Paul the wisdom on how best to treat him.  Please also pray for the "peace that passeth all understanding" that only the Holy Spirit can give.

As you can imagine, Bec and the girls needs your prayers as well.  She told me that she would try (if she is able) to get on here and post something as well.  Not sure when/if that will happen.

I put Paul on the prayer chain at church. I would ask that you all do the same. God is still on His throne and He is ABLE to do all that we ask - above and beyond what we ask is what His Word says!

Love you all,
Debbie D.

Oh Debbie this really makes me sad , if any of you know Paul he is very very tall big man that to be knocked down in the prime of life like this is so so sad,...He is a great guy and am happy that i can say he is a friend of mine and Joes...I will be praying that God will take care of him to keep him from having a lot of pain....it doesnt sound good that he had this bad reaction to the Chemo so if he recovers from this round i know they wont do anymore of it.  Please pray with us that he and his family will have the grace of God to surrounding them in this time of need .....

Debbie,Please let them know that they are in my prayers and in my heart.
They both are very WONDERFUL people. I have never met the girls but if they are anything like their parents, they gotta be fantastic.
If there is ANYTHING I can do please let me know.

Dont forget to pray for Brenda too.....she is making small progressess but still has a long long way to go.....So our Lord is going to be busy listening to all of us.....

Hi, Mama Jan & MO Peeps:

Bec called me tonight and asked me to let you all know she so appreciates your kind words and your prayers. Paul is holding his own right now. They won't know the results of the cat scan until tomorrow (they're checking for a bowel obstruction). I've had a few people ask me where to send cards. Bec says it would be best to send them to their home.

Once again, thank you for your prayers.  Bec and Paul appreciates each and everyone of you so much - as do I!

Love,

Debbie D.

P.S. As Mama Jan stated earlier, please remember Brenda in your prayers. Her and her family have been going thru their own nightmare with her health. I've been trying to keep up on progress via the website her husband put up.

I'm just sick about the news about Paul. I sure will be praying for a miraculous recovery. Cancer, in the name of Jesus, be gone.
