WHAT'S HAPPENING THURSDAY

Good morning Missouri.  It is so cold here this morning.  Luckily we didn't see any of that snow here in St. Louis but I know other parts of Missouri weren't so lucky.  Hopefully it wasn't too bad for anyone and everyone is staying warm.  Yesterday was a long day around here.  Cody ended up staying home from school.  His toe was just too painful to walk on yesterday so I had pity on him and let him stay home.  I was also afraid of other kids stepping on it and breaking it wide open.  I know personally what it is like to have kids step on a sore, open toe.  He went back to school today.  Yesterday's cloudiness didn't help a thing at all yesterday.  It was just one of those crazy, blah days.  I just didn't have any pep.  I'm hoping that today will be better since the sun is out.  I can't wait for the middle of next week - they are saying maybe 60's by then!!! I am personally more than ready for spring.  We don't really have anything planned for today.  Well, I just wanted to say hey and see how everyone is doing.

I'm getting way too much wear out of my snow boots.  I want to wear dresses and skirts, but haven't because it's so cold and if I fall on a slick spot, at least my rump is covered.

What did Cody do to his toe?  There's nothing worse than foot pain.  Some kid would probably step on it just to be mean.  Kids can be so cruel.

It is great to see the sun and I hope we get those warmer temps to melt this stuff.  We're moving next Wednesday so we're hoping for a sunny, nice day.  We have movers hauling the heavy stuff.  So much to do.  Makes me tired just thinking about it.

Hubby's daughter is angry because we're moving.  We live about 10 minutes away from her.  She wanted us to move her so "they" could help us when we needed it. Yeah....right.  That never happened.  We don't need help very often, but the 2 times I asked her to take her dad to the doctor because he couldn't drive, she had other plans.  Max is always doing things for her.  She just uses him and he has trouble saying no.  At Christmas, she invited us over and requested we pay our part of the pizza.  We had other plans the night she was having her little party.  I was furious.  I rarely eat pizza and to ask us to pay for our part.....  I'll stop venting.

I've been working on breaking my snack habit and I've done much better this week.
