LONG TIME GONE
Hey everyone,
Been away for a while, been trying to read, and tried to post from my phone, but for some reason I can't type on the OH website. Don't have any trouble typing on my FB from my phone, don't get it.
Anyway, still have about 100 hours of driving to do, then will get my own truck. Have a great trainer right now, she's easygoing and new to training, so we are kind of learning from each other.
Right now we are stuck in Dallas, came through Monday morning and the roads were starting to ice so we parked at the TA east of Dallas and put the truck in the shop so they could try and figure out why it sputtered and lost power. As of this afternoon they know what the trouble is, problem is one of the bolts holding the turbo together is broken and they can't seem to get it out. Tried tapping it but didn't work. They may have it done tonight so we might get back on the road tomorrow.
Am really loving it out here, but looking forward to my first home time. Am losing weight pretty steady, The food is only an issue when I run out of my protein powder and bars. Will have to make regular stops at Walmart after I get on my own truck. It's kindof hard to do when you are driving as a team.
Well have a few things to get done, ordered chinese, am having pepper steak, they should be here soon.
Miss you all and hope things start getting regular, the training is hard right now because as a team we have to keep the truck moving, they plan our trips like that and just don't have time to stop at truck stops where I can access the wifi.
COF group, am hoping to make it to the next meeting.
