Plastic surgeons in Kansas City area

Hello, I'm 13 months out of my rouen-y bypass surgery and am very near my goal weight.  My primary physician says it is time that I start looking at plastic surgery.  Can anyone suggest a good plastic surgeon in the Kansas City area?  I have BCBS-Anthem and am going to try to get them to pay for the breast reduction and tummy tuck.

Thanks!

I, as well as some others on this board has used the KU Med Center. They have a residency program that is great, I had a TT last year in January and couldn't be more pleased.

Congrats on your weight loss and good luck with your search.

I also used the resident program at KU and had a lower body lift. I was very happy with the work done. My resident was Dr Dass. He is about to graduate but I think the entire program is a good one.

I also used the KU residency program and had Dr. Dass and love him and Dr. Ponnuru, the professor. It is amazingly less money but if you get BCBS to pay, that's great. I had a tummy tuck but it was extended and I could not be happier. It is a wonderful place and everything is included in one price - surgery consult, surgery, surgical center, anesthesia and post care including the dreaded binder!
I would go there in a heartbeat - think my TT looks much better than others I've seen and I'm OLD!
By the way, you are getting the best bariatric surgeon in Missouri, Dr. Hornbostel. He's moving to St. Joseph and although he didn't do my surgery I am jealous that he's going to be in St. Joe. I'm from up that way.

I had to have some reconstructive surgery done and was pleasantly happy with a place called
Monarch Plastic surgery in Overland Park KS

Dr Bene was my doc, but it seemed like everyone there was good, at least all the patients I spoke iwth were pleased.
