WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Well we are hoping and praying that the roads will be clear enough for us to get out of here tomorrow after we go sign some papers in Forsyth tomorrow morning. we dont know whether we are going to leave from there or come back home and get the stuff  , it depends on what we find on the roads from here to Forsyth....The snow plows have gone by our house twice yesterday after it quit snowing and then last night they came by with spreading something on the road so our roads here should be ok if they have all of them as clear as they do down here in th boonies. dont know we must have some one pretty important down here but dont know who lol ....we never go without elect very long and always get our roads cleared fast too. and when i say we are in the boonies just ask some of the people that have been down here ,....like Barbara shes been here a couple of times or Andy and Susan they lived down here too.  it really is in the boonies.

So how much did you all get and where are you located ...we only got about 3 inches with about 1/4 inch of ice under it. ...

Anyway we have everything packed and this evening i am empting out my fridg and taking it to the neighbors ....then we will be draining everything , turning it all off and call the satalite company and put that on suspension so we dont have to worry about a bill there. elect will be down to min as will water etc....so while we are gone bills will be 28 elect 13 water, and nothing else. great wi**** could be like that all the time lol instead of 300 or 400 for elect....crazy huh...

nothing much else going on ...at least we dont have anymore snow coming in till maybe Sunday. and it looks like it might be bad too. good news from the ground hog today anyway....lol

Need to go see my family in June ,in Joliet, IL , my nephew is graduating fron 8th grade.  And I will be 7 months post op an no one in my family has seen me yet.  (only 3 months post op as of TODAY!  I amost forgot)  76 pounds lost. Yeah!  Maja in St Louis.

that is bad since you have to use your vacation days to be paid. but i guess most jobs dont have built in snow days like schools do where you could make it up later...
you are doing great of 76 pounds in 3 months that is wonderful by June you will be a tiny little thing lol they will not know you for sure.
keep up the good work.

I started at 434 so tiny is not a word in my vocabulary in the description of my size.  But I do feel incredible, so many things have changed.  I still fight the head hunger battle, I want to graze all the time so I drink water and watered down diet juice. I do hope to be smaller and smaller when I see my family, but I will be very droopy as it has already begun.  Oh well, time and obesity does take a toll on our bodies.  Plastic surgery here I come .... in a few years. Thanks for the reply Maja

Hello from snowed in Tulsa,
Jan I wish the snow trucks plowed here like they do in Cedar Creek, the main roads finally opened up this morning but all the neighborhoods and side streets are packed with snow and ice and I doubt they will get plowed unless people pay for a private snowplow to come plow them out.  Our car is still buried, I been out a couple times today so far shoveling snow around it, hopefully by the end of the day I'll have to where I can at least move it, dunno if I can get it out of the parking lot here at the apt cuz its still a mess.  We ended up getting about 14in of snow here in Tulsa, the snow drifts around the car and against the buildings around here were as high as 4 to 5 feet, unreal!  Susan wasn't able to get to work yesturday but this morning a working with a 4 wheel drive came by and picked her up, no way a normal car can get out of the parking lot here.  I doubt school will be open at all this week, which makes for a shorter summer but its all good, I'd rather stay in where it's warm then try to drive out in this mess anyway.  Other then the snow things are going pretty good, we're both feeling good and all, I'm not doin so well on losing much, maintaining has been really hard too.  I found a good bariatric surgeon to see so to get all our blood work and stuff done and he's discovered I have a chemical inbalance which we are working on.  For some reason my testostrone levels were down to near nothing which he says can cause weight gain and body fat gain which has happened, no matter what I would eat, my body stored it like I was starving so next week I start testostrone shots and hopefully that will take care of that problem, he said that is why I was not able to lose weight like a normal RNY patient, who would of thought huh?

Jan you and Joe becareful on your trip, have a great time though.  Let us know what ya find, we wouldnt mind going down that way for a visit sometime, sounds so nice.  Hope everyone is doing good despite the snow storms, hopefully we dont get another one of those for a longggg time!!  Y'all take care, stay safe and warm!!

Andy

Today has been a busy day around here.  Of course there was a driveway to be cleared.  Cody, David and I took turns shoveling so none of us got too exhausted.  It was great exercise though.  We got mostly sleet up here in my part of St. Louis.  I think we did get about 3 or 4 inches of snow on top of all the sleet but no where near what they were prediciting.  Also had some laundry to do which meant going up and down the stairs all day.  I can't believe Cody's school has called off again for tomorrow.  If he doesn't go back to school soon we may choke each other, lol.  I'm so tired of hearing "I'm bored" and "I'm hungry"!!!!  Patience, patience, patience!!!

Jan, I'm saying a prayer that you get to leave on time tomorrow and most certainly praying that you have safe travels.  You will have to be sure to let us know when you get there safe and sound and are all settled in.

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

Hey Jan,

just read you are ready to leave for paradise. Wish I could stow a way with you and Joe. My trainer and I are stuck in Dallas, they didn't get a lot of precip but is enough to shut the city down. We had truck problems and the truck is still in the shop. Been here since Tuesday morning we're hoping the be done by tomorrow morning. Then we still have to hope we can leave, seems they are expecting it to start snowing tonight.

Just want to wish you a safe and joyful trip. Looking forward to hearing how nice it is down there.
