Dumping question
I have a question about dumping. Has anyone else had problems dumping with Atkins protein bars? I was able to eat one earlier this week, but today dumped after eating one. It is a Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar 19 g protein, 1 g sugar, and 2g net carbs. I am 30 weeks pregnant...don't know if this has something to do with it or not. Any advice is welcome...

I am definitely getting in enough calories, protein is a difficult thing for me so the supplements have to help "save" me. On our 3D/4D scan last week, they said baby has "chubby cheeks" so I believe his weight is doing well.
I had not thought about sugar alcohols acting the same as regular sugar. I will definitely take note of that and test a few more supplements. Thanks to both of you!

That is definitely what has been happening to me, I don't know from one time to the next how something will affect me.
This pregnancy has been really similar to my other three. The only thing different is less weight gain, but still gain (25 pounds at 34 weeks). My other three pregnancies pre-bypass I gained 70 pounds with each.
The other thing that has changed since being pregnant is before I got pregnant I didn't dump on sugar at all...now it seems most sugars I do dump (I guess this is good because it keeps me on track).
Stay on your supplements because even though I wasn't faithful with them in the beginning, I now have to be because my last series of blood work showed low iron, low vitamin D, and low B12.
At 32 weeks, they started me on weekly ultrasounds and biophysical profiles because of the bypass. Also I had to have an echocardiogram at the beginning because of the bypass and a followup six months after the first because they found a ruptured chorda (tendon) of my mitral valve that I didn't have in a previous echo I had in 2002.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
