Looks like we are all going to get snow this time around....darn wish i wasnt here lol ....but wont be long now we will soon be out of all of this snow and cold.

Went yesterday to town and had lunch with one of the girls i worked with....she was sent with a message from a bunch of the girls at work that i needed to get back to work. lol told her to tell them that i might when we get back if we dont want to move where we have been.

Then went and got my hair cut and colored ...yeah looks so much better. its just hard to put highlights in  your own hair.  then we went and picked up our glasses ....oh my gosh i can see really well....didnt know i was so blind until i put them on. lol  AMAZING....

We are suppose to go to my brothers this evening but if it is suppose to start snowing about 3 or 4 i dont know if we should or not......decisions decisions. lol

Been going thru papers and old magazines and pitching them ....Joe bundled it all up to burn when he has time he still has some limbs to burn out at the burn pile....

Well better get off here and get busy doing something.

Snow....ugh.  Sure hope they're wrong about the forecast.  Greg has court tomorrow and wants to get it over with.  I hope it's not cancelled.

I've been thinking about letting my hair go natural which would probablybe mostly gray, but I don't.  If I could have the Paula Deen look that would be great but I don't have hairdressers back stage to fix my hair.  My hair is not very thick.  I loved the look of the wigs I wore for awhile, but they make my head itch.

I have to get going on downsizing if we are going to move.  I'm not one to keep stuff but Max is.  Some things I'll put on Craig's List but others will go to charity.  Greg wants to rent out house and that would be great, but he's not working right now.  The GF needs to get rid of her house because she can't afford the payment which are over $900 a month and it's a money pit.  She prefers living in Kansas and he prefers Missouri.  If she wants to move to Raytown that would work out fine.  Greg would take care of the place.  We could leave the lawn equipment there.

So much to get done.....makes me tired just thinking about it.

Good afternoon Jan!!!  Yeah, looks like that snow is making a beeline straight for us.   Where I am I'm expecting 6 or 7 inches.  Good for Cody but not so good for Mom, lol.  Cody is really loving it cause he was already going to miss Friday and possibly Monday because he and my mom are going to my brother's house for the weekend.  For Cody's birthday my brother bought he and Cody tickets to the Ozzy Osbourne concert up in Kansas City and it is this weekend.  My mom is going to my brother's with Cody so we don't have to send him on the train alone. He may be 13 but I'm still not comfortable letting him do that alone and Mom volunteered so I figured "why not?'  So Michael and I should have a super quiet weekend.  Too bad we don't have the money to actually do something, lol.

I know what you mean about the glasses.  I really need to go and get my eyes examined again so I can get new glasses.  I know I need a new prescription but right now we just can't afford it and unfortunately rent and food do come first.

I want to thank you so very much for turning me on to drinking my protein in my coffee.  I had never thought of it before and it tastes so much better this way.  Not to mention it's a great way to start my day.  I think I'm going to try and get my walk in before too long if it's not too cold outside.  Goodness knows I won't be able to walk for a few days because of the snow and extreme cold so I better get it in today and figure something else to do for the next few days.

On Thursday when Mom comes to get Cody she is bringing my scale up and I'm excited (who ever thought I'd be excited about being able to get on a scale, lol).  The one I had at her house goes accurately up to 350 so I know I will be able to weigh on it.  I'm hoping it's going down but have to keep the faith if it's not.

Well, better get moving.  Michael's wanting some lunch and I better find me some before it gets too much later.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic day.  Stay safe and warm.

Hey Jan and everyone else.

All is well here in north central MO. Waiting for the nasty snow to come tonight. Nothing big happening here - am looking forward to a "date" with my new hair guy on Friday, so hoping the roads will be good between here and Columbia. I'm doing a cut and color both. And I too, need to get in and get the old peepers checked out. Will need to see if my eye insurance works up here in No Man's Land. If not, another trip to Columbia isn't that bad.

Hope everyone has a great day, and try to enjoy the snow if you can.

P.S. day two of the gym for me today. Just did the walking (interval on the treadmill) and arms and chest are super sore from yesterday's class. Back to the class tomorrow - if I can get out that is.

I finally got internet back today. We have been off line for about a month now.  I am sitting here watching the pretty snow coming down knowing that I am going to dread driving to Columbia in it tomorrow morning. I have my one month follow up tomorrow with the bariatric dept...although it has been over 2 months since my surgery.

I had to be taken to the hospital from work by ambulance yesterday. My first ride in the back of an ambulance and it was not fun! I had horrible abdominal pain and nearly passed out. They ER doc diagnosed a pelvic syst that will require surgery to remove but I can't get in to see my Dr. till next wednesday for follow-up.

I need to get my hair colored as well but too lazy to get in there and do it. I hate when the gray starts taking over and has a mind of it's own. One of the draw backs of curly/frizzy hair.

I think I missed this website the most while off line. It has been such a source of information and encouragement for me.

Hey girl,

I had my surgery done at the same place as yours, though I didn't get De La Torre, I used the lady doc there. I hope your cyst is going to be taken care of quickly - that sounds like NO fun at all. Hope your trip to Columbia went without incident.

OK, Ya'll, I'm the wierdo who LOVES the snow. I crept along from Nixa to Springfield but still wasn't late to work. I just think Winter should have snow. I would have preferred a Snow Day but that isn't in MSU's plan of action. We almost always have school and it's hard for the non-traditional students who have kids in area schools that are closed and have no one to take care of them. See you all on the 28th.
