WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY???

Thanks to all of you for keeping the board going that is great.....we sort of died out for awhile but looks like some of the older ones are back....not all but some....wish more of the ones that were here when i first came on would come back too. would be awesome.

well have been supper busy got only a couple of weeks more to go till we get out of here. need to start thinking about what we will be taking for clothing to Ecuador   will need a couple of light weight jackets if we go up into the Andes mountains very high....would like to go way way up but dont know how far i can climb. probably farther than Joe can....we will see.

We have an appointment with the guy that has his land up on a bluff overlooking the ocean the one that has the fruit trees and a garden spot. the house that is there is pretty big but will need extensive work to make it beautiful from what the pictures look like....and it is cheap enough to be able to do that....it is in the lesser area where the EXPaTs are living. so the prices are still really really cheap...but they are continually building bridges and new freeways so it wont be long till that area is discovered too....and the place would be worth a whole lot more than it is now....so it will be a good investment....where as the beautifual places that are already discovered and selling at much higher price wont probably go up much...if any for a long while. ...and i would rather have land and trees that are producing fruit now and have to make the house better ....than the other way around . lol but that is just me ...old farm girl will never change me now i guess.

ever one that goes to the COF meetings in Springfield they are the 28th not this coming friday as it should be ....ok>? then the one is March is the 11th .....Tammy had to take what she could get on dates ....

Joe and i are running gas lines into the house for a n axullary heater in case of electrical outage for the winter .....not that we will be here but Joes brother wants to come up and stay and take care of things for us while we are gone....im still thinking about it.....he is a good guy and he wont smoke in the house but he cleans like a guy does you know....you all know what i mean dont you>???? i am just leary about someone else being in my house and me gone....i know he wont tear stuff up but one thing we dont want a big elect bill while we are gone and that would make it big....dont know ....i was going to put the elect on vacation mode as was the direct tv and then wouldnt have those bills while we were gone. just dont know ....give me your feed back and reasoning so maybe it will help me decide. Oh he is great with our dog and Rebel loves him as much as he does us....so that is a plus.

talk to you all later im cleaning my stove(Miss Peg) and doing some things in the kitchen that are needing doing.....cleaning frig, cabinet tops , light fixtures. etc etc.

Jan, the Thera shoes are on sale at Kmart, bogo.  I still have mine and I'm going to try again to get used to them. 

The place in Ecuador sound great with mountains and the ocean.  I love the mountains.  Don't know if I want to leave the U.S. though.

Hummmm.....someone living in my house, not sure I would like that especially if they don't do clean.  My son would be fine in my house because he does like things clean and orderly.  He certainly wasn't like that growingup.  It's good that Joe's brother likes the dog so that'a plus.  And, it would be good to have someone living there since you will be gone for awhile.  That would lessen the chance of vandalism.

I got the bedroom ready to paint yesterday so tomorrow morning I will paint it.  Max is wanting to move to a maintenance free home.  We will be looking at a senior complex soon.  I hate the thought of moving, but he may not be able to take care of the yard and I surely don't want to.  It's too expensive to hire someone to mow.  I would like to have my sewing room in a room in the house rather than the garage.  The garage is fine until it gets cold like it's been the last couple of weeks.  Can't find a heater that heats it so it's comfortable.  We put a day bed and the desk and computer in the spare bedroom so there's no room to move my stuff back in the house.

Think I'll head over to Target.  Greg and Barb were coming for dinner and he would be staying but their water heater went out and he's repairing it.  I was going to fix Swiss Steak with potatoes and carrots but I think we'll have Hamburger Soup instead.  Make it easy on me.

Nice to hear from Lou yesterday.  Where is Becky?

Jo    i have no idea where Becky is either, Ive sent messages and sent them she isnt answering dont know if she is just busy or what.....i know she has some problems but dont know why they would keep her from talking to us....

The reasons you say are the reason i say for having Carl (Joes Brother) here while we are gone but also why i dont want him here either. and too if he is here we will have a huge elect bill to have to pay, he is more cold natured than i am and it will be so high that it will take away some of the money we might need...oh well will decide soon i guess.
