Yes, it is cold.....too cold.  I went to work yesterday but the office closed at 3:00.  No problems driving either way.

Jan, good for you on the 2 lbs. lost.  I've lost a few pounds and I feel it in my clothes.  I feel so much better when I eat healthy.  Sunday I made Chili and Hamburger Soup.  So many talk about ground turkey so I used 2 lbs. ground beef and 1 lb. of turkey.  I just don't like turkey.  I didn't tell my family about the turkey.  I swear I could taste the difference.  I made that Cheesecake recipe I posted, but my favorite is still the Paula Deen recipe I worked over to make it healthy.  I will post that one.

My son is doing community service at Wayside Waifs to pay court fines.  He likes it there and they have asked him to continue once his fines are paid.  He's almost done with community service.  As soon as they have an opening, he will be considered for employment.  It pays $8 which isn't much but it's better than nothing and he loves animals.

As far as I know he isn't drinking, but he is very emotional at times when he starts thinking about the mess he has made of his life.  Max is so good with him and encourages him.  Greg says he never wants to be this position again.

It's almost lunch time for me.  Hamburger Soup and apricots are menu today.
