WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Joe and i both went to the optomologist yesterday, yikes i knew my eyes were getting really bad but yikesdidnt realize they were that bad.....im going to have to wear glasses all the time now i guess , well only if i want to see lol ...my right eye is so bad it is awful i couldnt even read the top line on the eye chart correctly ...boy im glad i knew what i was doing with those meds at the nursing home, guess that is why i had a headache everynight when i got off work...cant wait to get my glasses and be able to see.

Hopefully today is the day to sign the papers for selling the rental house. have had 3 different dates sit for signing and one person or the other hasnt been able to keep appointment. only the buyers once tho....most of it has been the tital company.....
ill be glad to be rid of it actually....it has been a lot of problems ...if we ever do that again for income there is a lot will do different, for sure.

Sure am hoping that the weather men or wrong on this snow bit. , well actuallly i sort of like a pretty snow, ONCE, but when it keeps coming and coming and coming like i have seen it do sometimes it isnt pretty , and dont like the cold that usually is with it lol....Snow let the sun shine and be pretty one day and be warmer and melt away the next day, that is all i would ever want of the cold.

Oh i started my all liquids yesterday , protein coffee and protein smoothies.....that was 1010 calories and 90 grams of protein.....if i can keep that up for a couple of more days maybe i will have the carbs flushed out of my system and can maybe lose these pounds i have gotten on lately....i refuse to go buy anything bigger than a 10 ...wont do it. I will get this weight back off so i can get back into them again....not a lot of weight but i know that if i dont get it off now the next thing you know it will be 15 then 20 and on and on and on.....so Day 1 down.....

 Several of us "OFF" vets are 5 day pouch testing also. I'm on day 4 and feel so much better. I have to learn that "refined carbs" thing over and over. Looks like after a while I would really take it to heart and not be like the movie "Groundhog Day" repeating it over and over and over. Best wishes to you and yours in the new  year.

I'm with you on the eyes tho mine have been bad since about age 14. Mike and I both have "developing" cataracts. . . Just another one of the joys of getting older. Tho as someone wise once said, "At least I woke up on the right side of the dirt again today!"

Hi Karen, yes i read the OFF post daily but only post once in a great while.....we are getting ready to go to Ecuador for an extended stay for at least a month....hopefully soon. things keep happening that i try to take with a grain of salt but disgusted that we are having trouble getting out of here before it gets too cold. .. my vision isnt cataracts i already had that ....this is just poor eyesite past the point of the lens...

Good evening Jan and MO.  It has been another good day for me.  Part of me can't believe I've actually made it three days.  I had gotten into so many bad habits but that was then and this is now. 

So did you get your rental house papers signed today?  How was the rest of your day?  I know what you mean about the eyes.  I need to go to the eye doctor one of these days cause even with my glasses I'm having trouble reading some days.  How's are the liquids going?  I'm not sure I could go all the way back to only liquids that's one reason I've never done that 5 day pouch test.  I'm sure you are doing great with it.  We can all do this if we stick together and support each other.
