WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Well the elections are over finally.....never so glad to not be hearing stuff as after an election....i think they should make it illigal about them just trowing mud at each other. nothing should be said but what they beliieve in and what they stand for ,,,probably would eliminate a lot of ads since they might not have a lot to say in that respect.   i never know who to vote for because both parties sound like someone that i wouldnt hire to feed my livestock....so i think people vote for the lesser of two evils most of the time.

we are getting things ready to take to Michele. I sure hope she keeps doing as well as she is. I know there maybe missteps along the way at times but hope she is able to keep focusing on God and what he would have her do.. I told them that when they start getting so busy that they dont have time for the little worships they have going then the devil will get his toe back in the door.  you know what you put into your mind is what comes out of your mouth ....junk in junk out.

beautiful day today so far. chilly but pretty ...think it is suppose to get really cold tonight....
I am going thru a lot of stuff and de cluttering....going to advertise it on craigslist i think....or maybe have my son put it on his ebay account...i have a huge collection of angels...and i mean huge...i have probably over 400 of them tiny to larger one. just dont have room for all of this stuff any more it seems.

well going to get and get started getting  a lot of this stuff done.......talk to you all later.

Havent heard from Lisa about her dad yet...hope all goes well there.

Jan,
So glad you are going to get to go see Michele and to hear that Lisa has done well. Am praying for her Dad - his will be more complicated but his health should be better afterward. I voted too!!! I always do and do wonder about all the mud thrown around. Seems like they think they have to discredit the opponent because he/she's been slinging mud at them. Too complicated for this little mind - I just ask DH!!! He's the thinker in our marriage - I'm the entertainer.
I hope you have a wonderful time on your visit. Hug them for all of us. Know what you mean about stuff - I'm anxious to retire so I can start weeding out my possessions but it's going to be about 18 months before I get everything done and paid for and can actually retire.
Hugs,
Lana

Hello all you wonderful MO People,

Finally got to come home early enough to get a good nap. Will have a good paycheck this week, but it's taken it's toll on me. Went to St. John's medical supply this morning with the records of my first sleep study, the rep. said she didn't see any problem getting me approved for a new c-pap and right now that's the only thing holding me back for the DOT physical. I have to accept that it will happen in God's time and think it's better that way. Sometimes I think maybe he's trying to prepare me for being back on the road again. I haven't worked this hard in about 5 years. It's not easy to go out there and do a 10 hour shift on a truck, so guess he's helping me improve my stamina. When I do long trips like the last few days, I keep thinking how much better it will be when my bedroom is in the back of the truck, then I can pull off the road and take a nap.

I intended to vote yesterday, but confess I forgot about it when I was home then when I left drove right past my polling place and got a job that I had to go do. I respect the right to vote, but am so confused about who is best for us, I don't trust any politicians anymore. But will make sure I get my vote next time. Haven't missed voting in years.

Jan~It's great you get to go see Michelle and her husband, I know you must be excited to see first hand her new life. Have faith that God will keep her close to him, I agree with you that we have to keep reading, and listening to his "WORD". I'm learning that is the process, we don't all get saved overnight. I'm a good example of that. I do know that he is with me, and even though I'm struggling to totally trust him, he is not going to let me go.

Lana~I don't plan on retiring for at least 12 years. I think that's how long I can legally drive. My dream is to find a good looking trucker, get married and spend our lives together on the road, the good looking part is a "BIG DREAM".

Well need to get off here and make out the bills, clean house and then maybe go back to bed. It feels like such a good day to just stay home and do what ever.

I'm praying that Lisa and here Dad are both doing well. God Bless all of you, have a wonderful day.

LOTS AND LOTS OF HUGS

Jeanie so now we know why you want to drive again lol .....
hope that everything starts getting lined up for you ....i know it really gives me goose bumps when i see people like you that the surgery has changed their life so much...I know mine was changed so much i was a prisioner of my living room chair most of the time because i couldnt walk more than a few feet.
You and Brenda both are such inspirations to people that are in bad health causing them to die before theiy  are suppose to and look at the two of you now. great going. Keep up the good work with diet and walk when you get a chace to

I sure hope you had a better day than I did. First thing at school I found out one of my favorite students was killed in a car accident last night. I got out my phone and was looking for the details online and someone turned me in to the principal and he called me on the carpet for it. It was almost more than I could take. I may have to stop subbing there. I have already agreed to do a few more days so I will do at least the rest of the ones for this year but come Jan, they may need to get someone else. Its just not worth the small amount I get for them to treat me like a student.

Glad to hear Lisa is doing good, I hope her dad did well.

I sure hope tomorrow is better.

Susie~It breaks my heart when I hear about young people dying in an accident. Am so sorry to hear about your loss. I agree with you, when you are only paid so much to be treated like a student is just too much to take. Hope you can find something more rewarding for you.
