BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it is cold , is it to you all ? I have been out helping Joe try to clean ut this old wooden shed of all of our building supplies so that our people that are moving into the little house have some place to store some things..it is eventually going to be torn down but right now is needed. I just got so cold i couldnt stand it anymore. I came in the house and turned on my little heater;anyway.. i didnt get much done for sure.lol

been online checking out plane tickets for Ecuador...lol  we really have been looking and seems like they want to route you really silly ways. thought since we will be going to see daughter, Teresa who lives in Tucson Arz. i thought ok we will drive to San Diago and get on a plane since it is on the Pacific coast too and guess what they do ....fly you to Miami , Fla then to Panama then to Ecuador lol crazy huh?  so thought ok will see about Houston, my Sister, Kathy lives there and could go to airport there and leave our truck at her house well that goes to Panama then to Ecuador so that may be the way we go. that is about half the price of the ticket from San Diego . weird how they route things. will keep looking maybe find something cheaper yet. they say that there are certain times of the the day , week , month that you can get cheaper tickets. Wednesday night very late or Sat night very late are both good days  so will check again tonight. will see......we want to stay at least 3 to 4 weeks or maybe longer.
as it stands right now we will be leaving here sometime in January but may go earlier if things work out ....i hate this cold and my body cant stand it either. ....the reason we picked Ecuador to visit and maybe more, is that the climate there is so good. most of the places have year round 70s day and 40s at night but there are areas that are jungle. temps then there are the coastal areas with beach temps but all is good .......plus all the good organic foods....lots of fresh fruits and veggies and good fresh sea food. ... clean mountain air. and cost of living is  almost nothing. ....

well got to go check on my stew im making for supper. need to stir up some cornbread or biscuits to go with it. ....hope it is good. smells good....talk to you all later.

I can't wait to hear what you think after you have been there. I have given thought to moving out of the country ,at least for a few years to save money but I do not see it happening. Air mile credit cards help with airfare. I use mine for everything, even groceries. It doesn't work as well as it used to because they have gone up on fares but it does help.

I still haven't used heat up here but I think its coming SOON. My fuzzy blanket has been by my side all summer and fall.

I'll be your city cousin living in Cuenca - no country living for me. But, I'll visit and eat the fresh veggies and fruit. I gotta have shopping and museums and galleries and restaurants!!! But I'd love to visit there - it sounds wonderful. Let me know how cheaply you can get airline tickets.
Hugs to all.
