WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

wow did you all get that wind last night. I had just gotten home from work and was sitting here at my computer when i started hearing this loud roar.....i went to the back door to open it and see what in the world and i couldnt get the door open....too much suction on it . scared me so i went into the bedroom where Joe was and told him he needed to get up and get in the closet with me i think...meanwhile the roaring kept getting louder and louder... was horrible. i know it was a tornado but it was up high....the tops of the trees were bending but that was all the ground level didnt see much wind at all. finally it went over and it started raining but that was really weird ....then the temp droped about 15 degrees right after that...from 65 down to 50....

well im off today and tomorrow , have to use one of my off days to go to town and get groceries. and feed for the animals. so guess i had better get ready for the day...
still sitting around in my jammies.

so better get ready to go I think Joe is ready and i dont think i should go to town looking like i do lol

Jan, you can go to town in your jammies.  I saw a woman at Walmart in her jammies or at least that's what they looked like.  People go out wearing most anything. 

No storms here but it is very windy.  None of the rain forecasted for the weekend came our way.

Thanks to Jan and Lana for the words of encouragement re my son.  When I start thinking about him and worrying I tell myself to stop and rely on God's will.  We can be supportive of Greg but he has to do the work.  It's like us with eating.  If we eat all the wrong foods we will gain weight.  No matter how much someone tells us what we need to do, it's up to us.

I have 2 goals this week.  One is to cut back my addiction to artifical sweetners and to exercise every evening.  Dr. Oz had 2 doctors on talking about sweetners.  You should only use 2 or 3 packets a day and I was using about 10.  The last 2 days I have cut way back and I can tell a difference in my cravings.

Jo. you know i might go to town in my jammies except that someone might see me and report me to my sister....she would come down here and shoot me i know. She is always so beautifully dressed. I on the other hand could care less most of the time ...give me jeans and a t shirt im dressed and happy...lol
well i use lots more than 2 or 3 packets of sweetener a day lol of course if it is bad for you i like it ...

 Just got back from a trip to Dh's high school reunion. I was a year behind but knew some of them.  We had to rerouted on our flight because of weather but made all our connections without any problems. I love visiting family but its always good to get back home.
I hope we are done with severe weather for a while, my guess is we are not but I can always hope.

Susie....wondered where you were.  So how are things going  on the personal front? hope everything is doing well. and since i see you are taking trips together it must be....hope to see you at the meeting in November
