Joe and i have been out writing down serial numbers off of his tool and then taking a engraving tool and putting his name on them too. There is someone in the Forsyth , Kissee Mills, Cedar creek area that is stealingl tools and trailers etc. so we are doing something about it ...if they steal our we will have a list and all that , can be identified at pawn shops etc. Shame that people think they have to steal things away from people that work hard to get what they have.
This one man that has a tire shop in Kissee Mills they broke in and stole about 20,000.00 worth of stuff and he said he didnt have insurance on the tools cause he could barely afford the insurance on the building and libility on people being in the building that might get hurt. This country is insurance us to death too....We are trying to find a way that we can eliminate a lot of our insurance. ...have to carry it on the house since we owe a small amount on it yet....and of course the truck and trike, cant lic them if you dont have insurance. they know that too....we could save a lot of money if we didnt have to insure things. just awful and ours isnt as bad as a lot of peoples .....

well got to get up and get busy again this morning. have to go to work in a while.....worked in the yard all day yesterday....used the leaf blower all sorts of places and now my muscle in my right upper arm is as sore as a boil lol ....said i will have to hold it in the other hand next time. and them maybe walk backwards so that up and down motion will work the muscles in the back of this flabby arm lol

I have started doing my little weights again too....since i know it is going to be cold soon and i wont be getting outside as much ....dont want to gain a bunch all winter. but then hopefully we wont be here for winter this year.

got to go it is already 11:30 and i have to leave here by 1Pm or i am late getting to work.....love you all
you should see all my mums.....white, purple , lavender, yellow , bronze, red with yellow centers, pink and red and dark red and sort of a orange with lighter tips on the petals....they are sure pretty...

Jan, I agree about insurance. If everyone would just stop and save all the money they have to pay out for insurance they wouldn't need it when some emergency happens - know what I mean. It's a hard question though - cause some folks are just negligent and cause so many problems for others. When DH had his business in Oakland, CA, there was a lawyer that paid guys in wheelchairs $500 to find buildings that weren't in compliance with the ADA laws. Whether they even wanted to do business in the building or whether they even tried to ask if there was another entrance or anything. Then the lawyer would sue the business and keep the rest of the money. John's rented the first floor in a building that had a six inch step to get into the lobby so they all got sued and if anyone had bothered to ask or check there was a side door to John's business that was wheelchair accessable. However, he had to hire a lawyer for several thousand dollars to defend himself from this crooked lawyer. So annoying. Also, he fired someone for not coming in to work regularly and ended up having to pay unemployment on him anyway. Crazy world.
Our mums in front of the house are blooming and they are so pretty but we still have roses blooming on the West side.
We feel like we're making progress with training the new puppy. She's growing so much and we have to get control - she's too be to jump on us. John has been breaking up a Pupperoni into tiny pieces and putting them in his pocket and using them to reward her but now she goes up and sniffs his pocket and then "sits" and waits for a treat. Have to work on that now!!
Have a great evening everyone - sorry you're at work, Jan.
Hugs,
Lana

Lana yeah you are right about insurance and people saving the money for themselves but you and I both know that not many people would do it. , it would just mean that they had more to spend on silly things like grocerys and elect bills lol

your training the puppy sounds like he is training you instead lol

I love this weather. I wi**** were like this all the time. It sure helps to look outside and see the sun shine.
Kids have a way of doing the stuff we do not want them to no matter how hard we try to help them. Just keep praying for them.
I know what you mean about insurance. My son couldn't afford but the bare minimum on his car and when he totaled it last month he lost it all. Guess who gets to work and pay his way?
Hope you all have a good week.
