are you using protein drinks? you cant get in the amount of protein you need without taking part of it in the form of protein drinks......if you like coffee you can make a nice flavored cappachio that furnishes part of your protein .....im 4 years out and i still have to do one to two protein drinks a day to get enough protein in. ....im glad you are doing well ....keep us informed and if you want to know anything im sure there are some here that can tell you ...

Thanks alot Jan it is nice to have you guys here to talk to ! And that is since I started not in a month , and two weeks before surgury I weighed 466 so that is really only 54 pounds So it does not come out to be as much as I would like , cause its only like 20 pounds in month But I hope it starts going a little better , and yes I need to get better on the protein drinks
hey all the weight loss counts....and since when is 20 pounds in a month not a lot of weight to lose...girl you are expecting way too much from yourself but if you up your protein and your water and walking you will lose it faster and faster.....you have to jump start your metobolism....with small amounts of protein it thinks you are starving so it goes into shut down mode and saves everything. so up al of that and you should see an increase. you dont lose as well as you should if you do nothing. it isnt a matter of wanting to or not , right now you need at least 80 gram of protein in whey protein. eating food is just a bonus ....so get with it. , you dont want to fooel around with the protein and start having heart problems.....
