HEY WHATS HAPPENING PEEPS

sorry i didnt post yesterday or this morning , i worked a shift and a half yesterday and today i have been out side in this beautiful weather playing with my leaf blower lol ....we have these huge oak and maple trees in this one area and if we dont get the leaves up as they fall more or less they get so thick and wet and packed that you cant even burn them ..so we are trying to keep ahead of them....lord you should see the acorns under the oak trees. they are just thick. the deer should have plenty to eat this year ....

Joe is heating up the grill right now to cook him self a steak , Im going to have some grilled veggies and maybe a piece of fish....have some bananas that i need to make some bread out of i think....may just peel them and put them in the freezer till i have more time,. works good to do that.
I have been cooking the sweet potatoes and peeling them and freezing them in small portions.

well dont have a lot more to say, been busy working and then working in the yard when im not working lol ....

arent the leaves pretty this year. i love this time of year but i sure am not looking forward to what is going to come later. the oldy thing i am looking forward to is leaving here this winter.

hope to get my knee dont again before we leave but may not. who knows....

The weather is great!  Wish I could say the same for my life.  I've not been here because of personal problems.  The last 2 weeks I've been on stress overload.  My son has been at my house and although he was told no drinking, he did anyway.  He was supposed to look for a job but that never happened.   I made numerous phone calls to find help for him, but he would not call them.  I finally realized Friday he doesn't want help so there's nothing I can do. 

His GF was picking him up Friday evening.  Just before she got there he downed a pint of Vodka and was passed out.  I called 911 because he was passed out on my front porch.  Talk about embarassing!!  He agreed to go to the hospital and was transported by ambulance.  They kept him overnight and offered him a 30 day program, but he refused.  She took away his debit card so he has no access to money.  He went thru withdrawals and was feeling much better last night. 

I may seek counseling for me.  I'm so discouraged.  My faith in God is wavering.  Praying for over 5 years for my son and nothing changes. 

Jo i know how dissapointing all of this must be.  but God didnt promise that just because we pray for something that he will give it to us. and besides your son has to be a willing percipatant and doesnt sound like he wants any part of it. I have prayed for my daughter since she was 16 and she is now 44 and just now is keeping herself clean and sober. at least for the last 2 months she has been....God will move in his life only when he is willing to give up all to him...all you can pray for is that God will put something so mighty in his life that it knocks him plum to the ground and the only way to look is up....I know as a mother how much it hurts but we have to keep our thoughts and mind on God not what your child is doing. You know that God gives everyone free will and he wont make him just quit. He could but he wont , untill your son is ready to God wont anyway.... Maybe he doesnt need to be in your home where you have to watch everything daily anyway. ....will keep praying for you to be able to be free of the thoughts that you have to heal him....your sister in Christ.
