I hope there is more happening today than was yesterday lol ...lots of lurkers not any posters....even the lurkers dont seem to be as many....wonder why?
I have to work today so this is going to be short since i just got up lol lazy woman i guess.

Yesterday we dug all the sweet potatoes ....oh my gosh you should see some of these things....weighed one of them and it was 6 pounds. can you imagine? they are huge....one of them makes me and Joe a meal side dish for several days ...i dont have anywhere to store them was wondering if anyone had ever cooked them , mashed them and then put them in seal a meal bags ..will that work? i dont have enough jars to can them.....

after getting all the sweet potato vines up and gone we tilled the garden up for the winter. i decided it was probably too late to plant anything. I might go out and sow some turnip seeds ....i like a good mess of them once in awhile , dont know what i would do with the rest of them lol
i guess i could find someone to give them to lol

well guess i better get off here and start getting things ready for work....love you all

Jan,
I think everyone is sleepier right now with the cool nights and warmer days. I just love sleeping cold!!

Nothing going on with us. Daisy dog is getting really big. Think she is definitely part greyhound. She's such a love.

It's Fall break here at school so no teachers or students just us office peons. It's good though, I've gotten lots caught up.

I had my doctors appointment on Tuesday and he said I'm fit as a fiddle. He was very pleased with me. My labs were wonderful - had b12 and calcium checked and need to cut back on B12 but it's not a problem. He thinks my left shoulder has a torn rotator cuff too but I don't want a referral to an orthopedic doctor because I'll never have that surgery done again. And the problem in my left thigh is a healing groin pull he thinks. I told John it sounds like he married a football player with a torn rotator cuff and a groin pull. LOL!!! He gave me a cortisone shot in the left shoulder because I told him I think it might be a bursitis problem because it seems to react to storm systems moving in. It does feel better. Also got my flu shot and pneumonia shot so I'm full of SHOT!!!!

This weekend I'm going to stop by the blood band and see if they want my donation since I had all those shots. Then we have to bathe the dogs - I'm not looking forward to that. Think we'll go over to this place I saw that was attached to a car wash on Kansas Expressway and it's a dog wash with a big deep tub but raised up off the floor so you don't have to get down on your knees. Should be interesting.

Hugs and loveys to all.

Jeanie,
I agree with Jan about tapering off cigarettes. I think you just have to throw them away and never pick them up again. JMHO but I think it's the easiest in the long run.
