WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

What is going on in your life everyone....do tell even if you think it is boreing lol....love to hear what you all have been up to.

Yesterday we met the granddaughter and my sister, Sugar , in Springfield for lunch...had a great time with them . ate and laughed....we went to Mexican Villa , good food i had a 1/2 order of the enchilada style Burrito...but brought more than half of that home with me. wound up giving most of that to my dog Rebel ...was good just couldnt eat any more of it. ...Had lots of fun with the babies.
they are doing great. and growing up so fast....Lily the one that is one. is so cute , loves to eat too.
I showed her how to take her spoon and bang it and say food food food...and then she did it back for me lol fast learner . Her mom said i sure hope she doesnt remember that trick lol ...guess that wasnt what i was suppose to teach her huh?

We stopped at wal mart on the way home and bought a few things we needed...and then came on home...
nothing much else going on with things. not a lot to do right now in the gardens...I have got to start getting straw bought so we can cover things with it soon. winter will be here before we know it ...and we will all be hollering about the cold again lol just hope the winter this year isnt as long and hard as last one was. but i have a feeling it will be.

Certainlly looks like rain out this morning. but it looked like this yesterday and all we got was a drop or two....hope the places that flooded last week with the rain dont get more of it this round....

Friday i need to pick up copies of my latest lab test results...I hope everything on them is ok....im sure they are but will see.

 I am home today but have plenty to do. I am cleaning out my craft room. I have so many things I never touch. I start a craft and go crazy buying supplies then I get tired of it or I am no good at it. Its usually that I am no good. I tried so many different things and still haven't found what I am good at.

No rain yet this morning but I hear its coming. We have had  a decent amount . Not too much and yet everything has stayed green. It did feel like fall late yesterday here and I loved it. The leaves will be turning very soon. My dogwoods are already turning red.

I am headed out for errands and hope to beat the rain. Have a great day.

Susie you sound like me , i use to buy stuff and try to do it like other people did and found out i wasnt good with stuff like that...wasnt until i found my flowers that i found my niche....i am good at them so i am satisfied in that...

we had 3 inches of rain last week but could use more that is for sure.

Boring......yes that describes me pretty well.  I call us the Boring Browns.  We don't do anything exciting but we're happy so that what counts.  We're pretty much homebodies.  

Jan, naughty you teaching that baby bad tricks!!  We can do things like that since they don't live with us.  I let the kids do things I wouldn't have let my kids do.  

I sorted thru my fabric yesterday, washed some, since I've had it for a long time.  I cut out a top and have it almost done.  The fabric needs to be sewn or given away.  One piece I've had since 1978 and another one since 1992.  

Last night we went to Logan's Steakhouse and had a nice dinner with a BOGO coupon.  both of us brought food home for another meal.  Tonight we're going to the dinner theatre.  

I did have my lab work done yesterday but I'm going to reschedule my appointment with the surgeon tomorrow until later in the month.  

I've slept until almost 8:00 every day.  Very unusual for me.  Next week it will be back to 6:00. 

Jo that is ok to be boring, that is the way Joe and I are, pretty much home bodies and like it like that.

lol isnt it fun to let the grandbabies just be babies and not have to worry about them so much. even tho we do i know....one of my great grandbabies  is going thru test right now to see if he is autustic. he has a lot of their symptons.  He is very very smart but there is some things that dont go right.

OK Jan here is my boring life...LOL
I have been canning a lot this summer. Zuccini, squash, tomatoes, tomato relish, pickled green tomatoes, cucumber relish (2 kinds), peach jelly, peach butter and now yesterday just started on apples. I put up a 5 gallon bucket of sliced apples in splenda and cinnamon for pies, yesterday and have one more 5 gallon bucket to do today. Thats why I don't post much...LOL

I do get on and read everyone else's post. I enjoy that so much. Jan, my day doesn't seem right if I don't see a post from you. Love you so much. Can't wait to hear what your labs are. Bet they will be great. I go for another series of Venafer iron IV next Wednesday.

Better get started on those apples.

Barbara that isnt boreing to me about your canning. wish i had more stuff to can ....i love doing it. something very satisfing about seeing those rows and rows of beautiful things in Jars on a shelf isnt there?
i sure do hope my labs are all ok....

It is fun to see it lined up...LOL I know we will enjoy it this winter. If I can keep the hubby out of it until the snow flies. LOL

Hey Jan I posted this a few days ago but it was late so you prolly missed it, imma post it here cuz you had askd Susan a couple questions and I answered them lol.  So far school is going good, got tons of reading though, so Imma have to cut this short or i'll be reading when the sun comes up lol.  Will chat at y'all later.

We're doing good here, getting adjusted to the "big city" life lol.  I start classes tomorrow, I'm pretty excited about that and nervous at the same time, it's gonna be great though.  Susan about has everything unpacked, we had to rent a small storage to put things that wont fit in the apartment, hopefully when it cools off some more we'll go through those boxes in the storage and condence things down and fit the rest in the apartment here.  How's George doing with the job?  I hope Dora isn't being to rough on him, she can really be a bugger sometimes.  I never thought I'd miss working at a place like I do now, I really miss being there around the residents and all, the kitchen crew for the most part are great people to work around.  

I doubt we can make the meeting on the 17th, we'll plan for the Oct. meeting though.  On friday's my last class ends at 12:30 so we'd be able to make it.  We're gonna try and find a support group here in Tulsa to get to on a monthly basis, I've looked a lil but havn't found anything like the group there.  I found 2 that are by the surgeons here but both are for their patients only, ai yi yi, I'm sure there is one if I look hard enough, I'll have to go over to the OK board and ask them.  

Susan's dad is doing much better, we went over there yesterday and he looked really good and says he is feeling better.  He's even talking a lil bit more, they do speech therapy on him every day, well mon - fri, and it seems to be helping some. 

Well I gotta get busy around here, Susan has a ton of trash and boxes to take to the dumpster, it wont get there by itself lol.  Hope you had a great time with your grandkids and all, we're keeping Michelle in our prayers believing she stays on track and finds a good church to get hooked into, that will help them both for sure.  Y'all stay cool.

Andy good to hear from the two of you.... glad things are going well for you.......i know you all will have a good life but i miss seeing the both of you at work...

glad Susans dad is doing well. I miss seeing his smiling face at supper ....

Maybe you all will have to start a support group....put an ad in some of the free newspapers.

oh the next meeting in October is the second friday in the month....ok?
