As I'm nearing my 2 year surgiversary, I've been wondering how everyone is doing.  I know we come here for help and advise when we are starting out and then some people tend to drop off.  I think when you get your life back after you loose the weight, you start to get busy with doing the things you always wanted to.  Doesn't mean you don't think about OH or your friends on here, its just life.  I appreciate each and everyone of you and think about you all daily.  I thought it would be fun for everyone to check in, even if you haven't posted in forever!  I'd love to hear how everyone is doing.  I hope this finds everyone well.

I had my RNY 10/08. I've lost 178lbs, gone from a size 28 to a 4.  I've had a tummy tuck with muscle tighting and liposuction.  I'll be having my arms done next week.  This surgery saved my life!!!! :D Lou

Hello Lou and Missouri,
I'm here and happy and have lost over 100 pounds. I DO NOT wear a 4 - maybe a 6, usually an 8!!! I'm almost four years out and healthier than I was ten years ago. I love my surgery!!
Hugs,
Lana

"WLS is about making better choices, a healthier lifestyle and seeing how little you can eat.  Portion control is the key to all weight loss surgeries.  Bottom line - it isn't how much you can eat - it is how little you can eat."

Hello Click pal.  I'm still lovin' my Click.

You are certainly a success story.  I'm a little over 2 years out, lost 70 lbs. and need to lose at least 20 but it's justnot moving.  No single sizes for me but I'm so much better off than before WLS.

I did become obsessed with the scale and tracking food, always thinking about what I ate, what I was going to eat and checking calories, carbs, etc.  My scale is hidden under the bed and this is day 3 of my new eating.  I will eat healthy and exercise, eat only when I'm hungry.  So far I'm doing well and feeling more relaxed.

Lou, good luck with your surgery next week.

Hi Lou!!! I enjoyed sitting with you at CoF adn was wondering how you were. Glad to see you!!!
My surgery was 3/15/10. I have lost a total of 113 pounds but had no loss last week!!!! WHY does that make me so crazy!!!!
I'm about 5 ft 1 inch so still wear a size 20 even though I weigh 190, one more frustration! Oh well, life is so good, even with the frustration I wouldn't go back for a minute!

I am Susie and I am 22 months out and have lost about 115 pounds. I went from a size 24 pants to a 3 or 4. I felt like I was the slowest loser ever. I had a stall at three weeks out that lasted four weeks. I just knew I was a failure. Well guess what? I wasn't a failure. You may not lose like you expect to , but you will lose after RNY. I feel better than I have in years.
I have had a lower body lift (six weeks ago) and a thigh lift (last year). I am hoping for a face lift next, I say I am hoping. Plastics can get expensive but well worth it.

My best advice is to stay in a support group. It will help keep you on track.
Susie
