WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY
Hello and good morning....they are saying the humidity is suppose to decrease..I sure hope so i can take 90s if it wasnt like breathing water...the 60s at night are really nice too...since i can turn off the a/c and open the windows.
Well i finally got my watermelon rind preserves done. all of that work and i wound up with 4 pint jars lol now i know why it isnt something that people do just to be doing lol ..they better be as good as i remember but i doubt it really ...you know how you remember things from your childhood, the house was always bigger, things were always taller and meaner etc. then you go back and look at that house and it is not big at all.
We lived in this one house that we always called the big farm house. Had a great big living room and dinning room that were only divided by a large arch door way. lol went back and saw the house a couple of years ago was the first time i had seen it since i was about 13....oh my goodness it wasnt big at all. and there were 6 kids and mama and daddy living there. wow.
Do you remember something from childhood that you have went back and saw and realized that it wasnt anything like you remembered.
The biggest house we had was that farm house and another new house but both of them only had 3 bedrooms .....one for the girls and one for the boys and mama and daddys bedroom ....and only one bathroom ....boy kids today would have a fit wouldnt they....there were 3 girls and 3 boys in my family and to have enough room in our rooms to turn around we had a set of bunkbeds and one twin size bed. and a small table between the bunks and the twin. and that was all the room...i remember daddy put a shelf up on the wall and a mirror so i would have a place to put my things on so the little girls wouldnt get them , they still did . lol ....
well dont know how i got off on all of that stuff.just a lot rambling around in there somewhere and every once in awhile some of it has to pop out i guess. lol
well i sit down and did some figuring last night and i will have to start working more hours if i want to have some of these bills paid off before the end of the year so we can go to AZ for the winter. ...so i guess i will see the girl that does the schedules tomorrow and let her know that i would like to work 2 on and 2 off if at all possible that would give me about 8 days a pay period and i might be able to do that ....I told Joe that he would have to pick up more slack around here tho ....He does a lot already but he would have to do a little more .....we will see how it works anyway....hopefully if i can do it for 8 pay periods i should have made some major dents in some of these things. and then have the insurances and taxes paid by the end of the year too. hopefully....everyone will just have to understand about Christmas this year maybe...
well i guess i have rambled on and on to long ...i just read back over all of it and it is a little pointless i guess but im going to post it anyway lol ....
Sure is looking like rain this morning , wish we would get some.Will thank Jesus now for the rain and maybe he will give us some .....love you all...

Another hot one today. No sitting outside today. Looks like it will be in the 80s starting Tuesday.
Tomorrow Max is having that wire called Neuro Stimulation on his back. If it works it will be implanted under the skin in a few days.
The BD dinner for my son was really good. The pork chops in the sauce were delicious. I'll post the recipe. I made Greg a dozen cookies. I put a Silicone baking sheet on the cookie sheet. You don't need to grease them or spray and whatever is on it slides off. They slid off ok.....right into the dogs' water bowl. I was so mad!! All those ingredients wasted and what a mess to clean up. The next batch I sprayed the cookie sheet.
Jan, when I was growing up, kids shared rooms like your family.....girls in one room and boys in another. One of my friends had 2 sisters and a brother. The girls shared a big bedroom and the boy slept on the couch. Now, kids have to have their own room, no sharing AND.....need their own bathroom. There was just my sister and I and our family only had 1 bathroom. I watch HGTV a lot and people looking for a house to buy are so critical, very picky, and I would be quite happy with the house.
I'm going to try and organize my woman cave. I've not worked out there a lot and I think it's because it's messy. My space has to be neat and organized.
Barbara brought me a bunch of clothes, size large, but they must be junior sizing because nothing fits. I'm so disappointed. Barb is a big girl, bigger than I ever was, but she talks like we are the same size. Really irritates me but I don't say anything.
Max went to SS and church and I should have gone, but I needed some ME time. I never get time alone and I really need that.

Jo so has Max gone and had the wire tried yet? from what they describe it is sort of like a tens machine you know where you fasten the electrods to your skin and it sends shocks to you....that works for pain pretty good just a hassel to put on and take off so hopefully the wire will help....Joe has thought about that too.
the pork chops sound good . what sort of sauce ? such a shame about the cookies lol not funny then but i bet it would have been funny to video tape it lol
i know what you mean about those people on some of those shows. they have to have 3000 sq ft and crazy....i wouldnt want to clean that big of a house ....]
I have a friend like that about the clothes size. she wears size 16s she brought me some saying these should fit you they are just a tiny bit tight on me so thought they should fit you perfect. ..lol
i told her i normally wear 10s but i would try them on cause you never know about size. so i did so she would be satisfied....and of course they hung ....she started saying you must have lost some more weight lol i told her no not for a long time now. she just couldnt or wouldnt get it thru her head that i was a lot littler than her. funny what some people see isnt it

I went out and pulled some weeds today, shouldn't have done that. Didn't hurt or feel like I did anything until after I came in and sat down. I do not think I pulled anything but maybe just over did it.
Spent my afternoon looking at realtor.com for a house near Dallas. No need to worry it is not going to happen. I think I am stuck with this house for a while. At least till prices start coming back up. I just wish the yard could take care of itself.
Gotta figure out what to cook for dinner, not at all hungry but DH will be soon. Hope you all had a good weekend.
